The deer yelled in fear, and bucked Kat off it. It then knocked Kat
off, and kicked him away and caused him to crash int a tree. The
deer then ran off quickly leaving Kat to rub his jaw where he was
hit. "Seriously..." he growled angrily.
Lucia approached him, dropping the rabbit, grinning. "What's
that they say? Third times a charm? Or something like that."
She snickered. "Sorry, cat, maybe next time. It got you good
though. You okay?"
Kat looked over, and sighed. "I'm fine" he grumbled in an
annoyed tone. He bit back a growl, and glanced around the forest.
He then spotted a mouse, and sighed.
Lucia looked doubtful but didn't press it. "Do you want the
rabbit? I'm not really hungry anyway." She offered. She never
really felt hungry anymore anyway.
Kanti tracked down her own rabbit and beat it in a mad game of
chase, killing it with a swift bite to the neck. She trotted up to
the two. "I've got my own," She mumbled proudly, showing it
off. It was probably more fluff than meat.
Kat sighed, and sniffed the air. His jaw still hurt him, and he was
annoyed by the fact that the deer had gotten away. He then saw the
mouse, and he leapt at it. Easily catching it, he devoured it in a
few bites. He then padded back to the others.
"I vote we head out. Prey will realize we're here soon enough
and we'll find ourselves at a loss for food," Kanti pointed
out. "Besides, we want to get there ASAP. Leaving as quickly as
we can will ensure that."
