Kanti ran up to them with a vole in her mouth. "I dun even know
what tis is, but it sells good," She mumbled through the
animal. She put it down. "Should be big enough for one of us."
Kat was about to catch the bird when it flew off. He jumped anyway
and crashed into a deer that was grazing nearby. The deer kicked
Kat in the shoulder whilst in shock and ran off. "Maybe I should
stick to fish" he growled slightly embarrassed.
Lucia looked up, blinking away the raindrops that hit her. She
pushed herself up, shaking herself off. "Rain," She laughed,
and then sneezed when a raindrop hit her nose. She dashed towards
the cave and sat down, looking at the rain.
Kanti sprinted in, keeping the vole dry as best she could. She
looked out into the rain. "...I've missed that. Rain," She
muttered, putting the vole down. "Just listen to it. It has a
completely different sound out here than in the city."
Kat nodded in agreement, and scrapped together a few small things
of debris. He made himself a nest to sleep. "There should be
some moss, and other things to make a place to sleep with toward
the back of the cave" he said kindly, and looked at the exit of
the cave. He watched the rain fall down, and sighed as it gently
hit the ground and the roof of the cave.
