Holly listens and examines the locket. "I see. That is quite
unfortunate." She says when she gives him the locket back
carefully. "Do you miss them?" She asks softly.
Mira gulped and walked up. Oh, PLEASE get something
okay!
"Mira, you've shown you have an exceptional aim and a way with
technology. We have a hero for you to represent," He stepped back
and grabbed a bright blue box. "We have assigned you to represent
Mega Man. We wish you good luck in your fight. Next up, Amakihi
Mill Chandce."
Mira's eyes widened. THAT IS WAY BETTER THAN I THOUGHT!
"Thank you!" She took the box and sprinted back to her seat.
"Well, I do miss my Uncle, he died saving my cousin. My father and
Pardon, I never quite got to know them, outside the stories." He
looked up toward the skylight. "But I promised Uncle Regret I'd
fight for justice, he trained me day in and day out. Took me on
small quests and I had fun doing them with him. There's a lot to
figure about the world. But, there's one city back home I never
really saw often, and that was Ayles, my Uncle's hometown."
Amakihi was seated, watching the ceremony throughout the
time others were being called up. She brushed hair from her face,
and blinked. She looked down slowly, and her eyelashes castes
shadows onto her cheeks. She shifted, and looked back up. She ran a
hand through her hair, glancing around at everyone else with
nervous eyes as Mira was talked to. She looked back up when she
heard her name.
Amakihi stood, and scampered up. She clutched her hands together,
and wiggled her nose. She glanced out at the others, before looking
back at the man with fear filled eyes. Oh dear, oh dear.
Holly smiles back and nods. "If I don't beat you." She says with a
smirk. She has been training all her life that she can remember.
And also been trained to tolerate pain. She feels it. But it is
hard to get a reaction out of her.
"Amakihi, you've shown a skill in gunned weaponry. We have a hero
for you to represent," The man chose a rather battered box. "We
have assigned you to represent Clementine. We wish you good luck in
your fight."
Mira looked into her box. Robotic armor, an arm gun, and electronic
glasses to replace her glasses were on top first and foremost.
Give me the robot dog, give me the robot dog, give me...
YES! At the bottom was a little remote and a collar that said
"Rush".
"I've heard so many stories, about my folks, their allies, and the
abilities I learned from training, God, Ladon wouldn't stand a
chance." He chuckled.
Amakihi nodded softly, a smile breaking out into her lips.
She scampered back to her seat, opening the box. Inside laid a
pistol. She smiled, picking it up and looking over it. It was an
impressive gun, metal and wooden. She ran her thumb over it, smile
still on her lips.
(Sylvie isn't online for her other character so...)
The man went through the rest of the students. After the very last
one, he gazed over the chattering crowd, looking through their new
equipment. "Go get changed into your uniforms and come back out
here for further instruction."
Mira got up almost instantly and sprinted away, into the nearest
bathroom stall.
Holly nods. "Same with the one I am representing." She replies. But
those stories are a bit too savage. Holly looks up at the man. She
gets up and tells Sorrow to do the same.
Tiger went into the bathroom, and changed into the blue tunic that
was in the box. He then walked out, and cleaned the wound across
his eye. Now able to see clearly from his left eye, he grabbed the
shield from the box, and placed it on his back in front of the
sword.
Mira came out soon enough in blue robot armor. "Not bad," She said,
smirking, looking at herself in the mirror. She adjusted the helmet
slightly and looked at the subtank slots. Haven't seen a subtank
around since Dr. Light went missing. She thought, wondering why
it was even there. She was more interested in the gun covering her
left hand.
Holly takes a little time getting dressed. Especially with her
jeans and boots. But she does not hold anyone up. She comes out
ready for her assignments.
Mira went back outside to the auditorium. Her eyes widened. "Oh my
god..." She muttered. It was a wreck. No one was around. The lights
were out, but her goggles had a flashlight on them.
