Holly sits and sighs. Nothing to do but wait. She didn't like how
things went down. Not all the death. Not the fact that the villains
got away. Not the fact that she couldn't do anything about it.
A man comes into Kiris' room. "Drink this," He holds out an orange
drink. "It restores energy. Don't worry, it's not dangerous or
anything; we just use it to wake up the senses and stuff."
Sorrow returned, hauling a giant knapsack with various supplies
from the wild. "There, I should be able to craft some weapons,
maybe some armor too." He laid everything out in his bunk. "Wonder
how everyone's making out right now." He stepped into Mira's room.
"Hey, is she up yet?"
Leroy was still wandering around the base. He did come across a
mace/flail thing that no one seems to own, so he took it. Might be
better than a sword.
"Go ahead. Alomara might be calling a meeting for staff members
soon, anyway, and I needed someone to look after her while I'm
gone," She went out of the room and closed the door gently behind
her, leaving Mira and Sorrow alone.
"Welp, I guess it's just you and me, huh kid?" Sorrow gently placed
his hand on Mira's forehead, "Dunno if you can hear me, but, I'm
sorry I let you get into such a mess." He sighed, opening her hand
slowly, placing his locket inside the palm, closing her hand, the
chain dangling. "A piece of my past..." He sighed, "Anyway, I think
I may have a way to gain the upper hand, a way for us to survive."
".....huh. This may be useful to me...." Leroy muttered as he swung
the mace/flail thing around. Which accidentally hit him in the
face. It damaged his helmet a bit, but hey, he's fine at least.
"......okay, never doing that again....."
Sorrow heard a loud clang outside from Leroy's weapon. He poked his
head out the door, "Uh, excuse me, one with the helmet there, could
we keep it a little quiet out here please? We got a patient
sleeping easy in here."
