"Eh... got a nasty scratch on my arm, if you could take a look at
that?" Serena asked, holding out her bloodied arm. "You good,
Dirk?" "MM-hm. Gonna go check on Kiris." The male responded, taking
off his armour.
The woman looked at the arm. "Some stitches, a bandage... That
should do it. Come, I'll lead you both to the medical ward."
She walked off, into the building, and went down some stairs into a
white hallway. Doors and windows lined the hallway. The two windows
to the left and right of them, you could see a still-unconscious
Mira and Kiris.
Sorrow rose from his sleep, looking around he almost forgot what
happened and where he was, he hadn't slept so comfortably in ages.
"Okay, let's see here..." He got up and stretched, "I gotta see
what's new." He walked outside, roaming around and seeing some new
people arriving. He saw Kiris pretty banged up. Serenity and Dirk
in pretty bad shape themselves. He stepped over to them, "Hey, you
guys alright?"
"Yeah. I don't think we've been formally introduced. I'm Serenity.
You can call me Serena though!" The blonde laughed, and stook her
hand out to shake Sorrow's.
"Serena," he shook her hand, "I'm Sorrow. I'm sorry you guys got
hurt, my group didn't make out so well either, I'm probably the
least injured of the three. Mira was in critical, Tiger had a gash
in his shoulder, and I was just grazed by a laser. Burns bad, but
I'll be fine."
"Hah. Better then me. Three inch gash on my arm. Did it saving
Kiris from Clu. She lost a lot of blood. I'm just worried that
she's not gonna make it..." Serena said, smiling sadly. The truth
was, she was upset that she wasn't able to protect the both of
them.
Dirk sat next to Kiris' bed. He smiled. "Way to go and be heroic,
Kiri..." he chuckled, and Kiris let out a wheezing laugh.
"Yeah, my Uncle knew quite a bit about the medical field, he used
to serve in the Holy Knights. But, he died saving my cousin, so...
I strive to uphold his duties. If I hadn't been there, Mira, and
Tiger, wouldn't be here." He sighed, "I shoulda just dodged,
instead of blocked, my sword woulda lasted longer."
"Heh. Hey, maybe we could train together or something at some
point? It'd be nice... I mean only if you want to..." Serena
clenched her fist at the recurrence of the pain in her arm.
Kiris chucked. "Yo, so is everyone else ok?" She croaked, smiling.
"Train, sure. But, you should probably heal up. My ways of training
would open those wounds up again for sure." He gave a slight smile.
"So, what weapons are you good with again?"
"Umm, well, seeing as im Zelda, I have magic and stuff that comes
from these..." Serena started, holding up her non being-stitched-up
arm and nodded at her gauntlet.
"Hmm, hard to say that I can improve your skills, I knew a mage
back in Adonis, however..." He started to remember how bitter Ecne
could be when it came to favors. "I guess I can try to use what
knowledge I have to help."
He looked closely at the Rapier, "Hmm, not bad, nice craftsmanship.
Perhaps I could go scout for some materials and enchant that,
enhancing your speed immensely." He looked toward the door. "Hang
tight, I'll be back within a few hours."
(I gotta head out for a few hours, be back later, in the meantime,
Sorrow will be hunting for materials to upgrade armor and weapons.)
