Angel glanced up from her food and shook her head. "No, I was taught about God and religion by my grandparents. They'd always say grace before eating dinner." She could hear the concern lacing his words and she assumed it was due to something in his past. Nat glanced up to the door to look for the man.

"Oh...that's neat. I bet they are nice people," Danny said, making sure not to talk with his mouth full. Quickly, his taco's were devoured and he glued his eyes to the door. Frowning, he noticed the man and put out a hand, keeping the man there by constantly using his powers. His head jerked towards the kitchen, keeping an eye out for the others. "He's here," Danny said, his voice hardening as he put up his walls and grew tough once more.

"They most definitely were." Angel said with a smile finishing her meal just after he had. Nat on the other hand was done before either. Both women's gaze was fixed on the man Danny pointed out, though Angel's gaze was full of anger whereas Nat's was full of fear. "You said the others come in through the kitchen right?" Angel double checked as she wiped the corner of her mouth with a napkin.

"Yeah," Danny confirmed, his eyes still there as he waited for them to come on. "Any second now...I'll keep them at bay but I don't know how long I can keep them all at bay. After we deal with them, I won't have to use as much energy to keep them from getting close."

"What do you want me to do Danny?" Angel asked, ready to do whatever was necessary to deal with these men. Nat was still glued to her seat staring at him.

"I-I don't know. Um...maybe we could knock them out? Or we could go another route and I could teleport us out of the front of the place and the we can run or I can teleport us someplace else in the city," Danny offered.

"I am not running. Not without you two," Danny said. "There are the others," he said, nodding towards the kitchen. "Okay, I'm going to get them all outside in the alley next to this building. I have to go with them to keep line of sight. It doesn't work otherwise," he said, taking a breath.

"Okay, but once we're there you're running and hiding. Don't argue this one with me." Angel turned to Nat to make sure she was ready. A few whispered words and she nodded.

Danny frowned, not liking that one bit. It was flawed. Away from them, he could become a target, used against them. And he couldn't keep needles from Nat if she wasn't in his line of sight. So he did what Angle said and didn't argue. But he wasn't following her directions either. She could yell at or thank him later, or both, depending on what happened. In a moment, he had them all teleported into the alley. Putting his back to the wall, he watched the crowd of men, looking for any thrown weapon he could stop.

Once the teleport was complete, Angel didn't wait for the surprise of the men to fade. She charged at them Nat on her shoulder as a spitting cobra at first. A couple men would fall to the ground clawing at their eyes that were splattered with venom. Angel retrieved a pair of brass knuckles from her purse and swung, connecting her fist with a man's jaw with a loud crack, and he went down with a broken jaw.

Danny smiled, getting an idea. Grabbing a heavy metal trash can lid, he teleported it into the way of a man charging Angel from behind. He ran headlong into the object with a satisfying fleshy sound before going down. He'd wake with a deadly headache but he'd live. The other man got a broken brick that had fallen to the face. Nodding, Danny grinned at his work. Seeing the needles in the mens hands, he snatched them with his power and slammed them into a fallen, empty trash. Turning back to the girls, Danny tried not to look so smug as he said, "I can help."

Nat shifted and turned herself into a little lizard as she leapt off of Angel's shoulders and onto Danny's. As she shifted back her grip let her envelope him in a hug. "Thank you," She saw what he'd done with the needles and wouldn't have been able to do that herself. Angel smiled knowing he'd not run like she'd asked, but it was good that he hadn't, though she and Nat would have been okay. "You did very well, Danny." She glanced down the alleyway to the road then back to the two. "Not to break up the hug, but we should probably get moving. It'd be best to not be here when they wake up," She looked to the two that were struggling to see and knocked their heads together causing them to fall back to the ground unconscious. "How about my place and some ice cream for celebration?"

Danny blinked in surprise at the hug, but he hugged her back. "I- you're welcome Nat," he said. "But you don't need to thank me. I was protecting you like you did for me. Though, you were and are adorable as a little lizard. Your place and ice cream sounds really nice, Angel," he added, heading over to her, arms still around Nat.

Nat let go and smiled down at the boy. "You thought I was adorable?" She giggled and rubbed the back of her head a little shy. "Oh, how're you feeling Danny? You said you'd be tired after all that... You good to walk? I could get a cab..." Angel stepped over a little closer to give the boy a bit of an inspection.

"I am okay right now. I just can't keep going long term with them. Fighting five grown men who are struggling to get free will wear me out quicker then normal. For now, I am just tried. Want to take a nap but for now, I am okay. I'll be fine," Danny said, seriously.

"Well, you can totally take a nap when we get to my house and then later have ice cream if you'd rather." Angel said as she headed out of the alleyway putting her brass knuckles back into her purse. Nat followed along behind her staying beside Danny.

"I don't want to sleep just yet. I like talking with you," Danny said, keeping himself awake. He trailed along with the girls, feeling safe next to them. It was something he hadn't felt in a while.

"There'll be plenty of time for talking, don't you worry." Angel chuckled and led the way. "So you really thought I was adorable?" Nat asked timidly. She still wasn't used to people complementing her.

"Of course I did, I do," Danny told Nat, nudging her with a shoulder. "Who wouldn't? Though, Angel is right. There will be time later to talk...but maybe I can get through a small bowl of ice cream?"
