Elvira nodded with a smile and took the phone and towel for Roxy so she could get the door. "See ya!" Once the door was closed she gave Roxy a look that simply screamed 'I'm sorry'. "Roxy, I just didn't want to hurt his feelings about the whole thing... I just got so flustered and unsure about what to do, so I panicked and, and..." Her blush returned full force and her hands shook a little as she struggled to apologize.

Roxy gave her a little half smile, trying to brush off any hurt. "I understand. I hope you didn't mind me putting my arm around you. I...I didn't make you uncomfortable, did I?" she asked, taking her phone and the towel. She held the towel in front of herself like a shield. Maybe she could keep from sounding silly with that there.

Elvira shook her head rapidly and returned her smile. "N-no! It was actually comforting," She chuckled slightly. "I'm sadly new to the whole physical touch for reassurance or love thing..." She only gave physical touch like that to the victims she saved, and she didn't get any when she was the one floundering. "Thanks for going with it,"

Roxy tisked sadly. "I like to say we need more hugs, less thugs. I'm glad you felt comforted. I was going for that. You know," she mused, cocking her head. "That is the second person today to think we are a couple."

Elvira chuckled at the rhyming quote, then fell silent as she realized that Tony had been the second person to make that comment. "He was the second," She stood there staring into Roxy's eyes for a minute as though she was searching for an answer within them before breaking the stare and looking to the floor. "We, we could..." She whispered under her breath, actually wondering what it'd be like. To be a couple. To have a 'more than a friend' friend.

Roxy looked back at her, eyes hopeful. "We could. Would...would you like to?" she asked, her breath caught in her throat. Her heart seemed to be lodged there too. And her whole body seemed stuck between way too hot and freezing cold. "I think I'd really like that."

Elvira felt everything inside her freeze and burn at the same time as her eyes shot back up to Roxy's. "Yes," Her voice snapped as she spoke so she tried again. "I-I think I'd really like that too," She didn't even notice that she'd been wringing her hands. She swallowed the lump and let herself smile. "I really would,"

The grin that split Roxy's face was stunning. She hurried to set down the towel and the phone before taking a step closer and hugging Elvira. "I'm so glad! Let's do it!" Her heart was pounding but Elvira wanted to date her! The already wonderful night was over the moon now!

Elvira felt high as a kite as Roxy embraced her, a gesture she happily returned. She chuckled and squeezed her girlfriend as she grinned. "What do we do first? Announce it to the world?" She asked jokingly, completely unsure how one goes about this sort of thing.

"Paradise," Elvira hummed as she grabbed napkins and brought those out as well. She truly was happy and made a plan to not leave. She had a reason to stay. "No, thank you, Roxy."

Tears pricked Roxy's eyes and she discreetly wiped them away. "You have no idea how happy that makes me," she murmured. "Thank you. So very much."
