"None of us had a clue what was going to happen, I'm just glad you two made it back safely..." Angel whispered as she held them together.

"And my word as well!" Nat added. "With the police involved hopefully things will be better. If not then I'll help you fix it Danny. You're my brother, and nothing will ever change that."

Sebastian nodded, sighing sadly. "True...but they don't know where you are. We will keep you safe."

Danny took a deep breath, smiling at Nat. "Yes, yes, we have your word too. I am just glad they didn't hurt you. If he had hit you...either of them...I would have...you'd have had to drag me off of them. I would have beat them to the ground. They..." Danny shivered, closing his eyes. "I meant that...I was dead before I chose to run. He would have killed me or I would have killed myself. But I got out and became me. This me. I like this me."

"You will be safe," Angel took a slow breath before she let go of the group and went into the kitchen to start making something.

Nat didn't let go. She didn't plan to let go until Danny did. "I like this you too." She shook her head and sighed. "If any of them had touched you I would have ripped them apart... Forget venom and a slow death... Their guts would have to be scraped from the ceiling and walls... I hope I don't scare you with that, but I don't think I could be stopped if someone hurt you..."

"I was feeling pretty tear them limb from limb myself. I hope he is dead. He should be dead and gone!" Danny agreed, looking up at Nat. "You are my sister. And I am so happy to have you on my side. Thank you."

Sebastian let the others know what had happened and asked them to keep an eye out via his phone.

Nat smiled down at him and picked him up in the hug instead of bending over. "You are my brother until the end of eternity. Even if the whole world was against us, I think we could still win. Simply because we're with one another."

Elvira replied that she would see if she could hack into some traffic cams to see if she could spot Alex anywhere, and she'd get some satellite feeds to cover their respective apartments.

Angel brought out two mugs and offered them to the two youths. "Here," In the mugs was hot chocolate. "Sebastian, yours and mine are on the counter in the kitchen,"

"Thank you, sis. We are pretty awesome together," Danny said with a Grimm. Taking the mug from Angel, Danny beamed, exclaiming, "Hot Chocolate! Thank you, Angel. This is exactly what we needed."

Sebastian thanked Elvira, glad that with the technology today she was able to use her powers so widely. He smiled, kissing Angel's cheek before going to get their hot chocolate.

Nat then let go once Danny reached for the mug, and then she took hers. "Oh it smells so good, yes! Thank you Angel," She waited until Danny had sipped some before she did. She planned to not leave his side for a while. As she sipped she shifted back into a human form.

Angel smiled broadly and nodded. "You're very welcome. I'm just very thankful you're both back in one piece. I think the time has come to finally put Alex down once and for all, that is if Nat's venom hasn't done that for us." She glanced to Nat, and bowed her head very slightly. The pair seemed to be a perfect match for one another. Both with great energy, strong drive, and they could both watch each other's back quite well. Nat would have to play a part in the removal of Alex, with her mind being resistant to Alex's powers. The rest would be planned out once they all got together as a big group.

Danny nodded. "I am so ready for him to be gone. No more worrying about you guys being hurt or him trying to attack...it might create a void, bringing in a new bad guy. Like the Box Ghost in Danny Phantom. But we can take these guys out and save the day." He felt rather needy of Nat himself. He wasn't going to leave her side for a while yet.

"I'll call in the others. Might need a few practice rounds if Greg will join us. For now, our communicators, Nat's ability and our combined powers will be enough," Sebastain promised.

"Danny, is it okay if I just curl up on you and not leave for a while? I don't want to sound childish, but, well, I don't want to be away from you. Aw heck, I am a child, so I don't care if I sound childish." Nat put an arm around his shoulders so as to not have to put down her cocoa and so he wouldn't have to put his down either.

Angel nodded. "A team meeting and a couple days of planning and practicing will be good. And we can't forget Roxy's fathers in this. I'm sure they'll have a few things for Alex when all is said and done."

"Of course you can, Nat. Why don't we finish our coco first? Then we can both hold them," Danny offered with a laugh.

Sebastian nodded. "They will probably want to do a ton. We'll just have to get the gang together. We can and will do this."

"Good idea." Nat chuckled and enjoyed her cocoa, not chugging it, but drank it quickly. "Would you want to read that book that Roxy's d- my dads gave me about the reptiles from their planet? There might be one in there that could help us get Alex..."

"Yes, we will." Angel leaned in to peck him once before she sighed and grabbed her phone to explain what they'd just talked about to Elvira and Roxy.

Danny nodded, finishing his cocoa as well. "That would be awesome! Let's do it! I think the others are coming over so we can get a head start on the plans if we find a reptile."

Roxy replied. Getting her things together with Elvira before they set off together. Billy and Teddy did the same thing, taking Greg with them.

"I'll be right back," Nat snagged his mug once he'd finished and put hers and his in the sink before darting off to get the book which she returned with quite quickly. Once he'd gotten settled on the couch, she handed the book to him and shifted into a small python to curl around his shoulders.

"They're on their way, and Greg is coming along." Angel said after taking a breath. "We'll go to the clearing once everyone is here and we'll start planning."

Danny laughed, promising to get Nat's dishes next time. Then he settled in, tucking his tails against them. "Should I read or we good to each read on our own?"

Sebastian nodded, ready for action, to plot the actual death of the man.

Nat half shifted back so she could speak. "It's up to you. I think just reading together would be good. If you'd like to read it aloud that'd be okay, but we might be able to read faster if we do so silently." She smiled, her fangs protruded slightly from under her lip.

Angel looked over at Nat and Danny and the scene made her smile. Nat curled up around Danny's shoulders, the both of them comforting one another.

Danny grinned, finding her fangs adorable. "Good point. I figured that way was fastest too," he agreed, settling in to read. "Tap my shoulder when you are ready for me to flip the page. If I am still reading, I will let you know, if not, I'll flip it."

Sebastian wrapped his arms around Angel's waist. I feel this strange mix of big brother and dad to them...how about you?

"Sounds good." Nat's smile broadened before she turned to look at the page, not shifting fully into a snake so she could still speak.

Oh very much a big sibling thing, but not really a parent, more of just a guardian. Angel smiled and put her hands over his, her thumb idly stroking along his skin.

Danny smiled, starting to read. He was happy with life and slowly pushing the earlier fiasco out of his head. He didn't need it in his life but time with his new family? He was happy with that.

Guardian sounds more right. Yes, I think that fits much better then father Sebastian agreed, nuzzling her neck.

Nat read through the pages happily, and tapped his shoulder when she had finished the page.

I don't know, I think father suits you quite well, but perhaps not for these two. Angel chuckled softly and tilted her head back to allow him access.

Danny read at about the same pace so he flipped thr page pretty quickly after Nat had tapped his shoulder. Although he would pause here and there on ones he was unfamiliar with, wondering if that shape would be useful against Alex.
