The Night Shift (1x1)
Forum-Index → Roleplay → Private RP → The Night Shift (1x1)Nat had woken up earlier than Danny for once, and had gotten out of the hammock bed using a very small gecko shape so she wouldn't wake him up. She then explored their room wall to wall, quite literally.
Elvira remained asleep, her arms wrapped around Roxy.
Angel was having another nightmare, and her breathing was shallow and rapid as she fought for her life and the lives of the rest of the group against Alex and his goons. They had tried to take him out, but he saw them coming. Things weren't going so well for any of them, and so in a last ditch effort, she grabbed everyone and took their injuries upon herself, but she couldn't reach a goon to give them to, and she didn't have the energy to move. So she floated there in the darkness wondering if she was dead. She couldn't see, smell, or hear anything, but she could feel the pain of all of the wounds.
Roxy certainly wasn't about to wake up early. Sleep was great.
Sebastian felt her nightmare leak into his mind. Frowning, he ditched his own dream to make his way into hers. Angel? Angel, I'm here. Where are you? I can feel you need me...give me a clue. Some way I can reach you.
(Leaving these two to sleep for a bit.)
Sebastian? I'm so tired... Angel was confused how she was hearing him, and in the dream state, she didn't know that he was in her dream. I can't see anything... Can't move... Somewhere nearby her body floated in the expanse of nothing.
I'm right here, my angel. I'm coming to find you. Just keep talking to me, Sebastian said, feeling his way through the dream to find her. His arms tightened around her in real life, a security blanket of sorts.
Okay... I love you Sebastian... Angel could feel the gentle grip and it cleared enough of the nothing that her form came into view. Her wings held out on either side of her made her look like a statue found in front of a church.
Sebastian found her and made his way over throughthe dream, wrapping his arms around her there as well. I love you too, Angel. What happened? Love, who hurt you? he asked, hanging on tight without hurting her.
Alex and his goons... We, we tried to get him... But he hurt everyone... I tried to save everyone... A tear slid down her cheek, but she didn't move at all, and her voice grew sad and sounded like she was crying. Oh god Sebastian, is everyone okay? Are they alive? In the dream state she believed that everything was real. She didn't know that everyone was alright and well in the real world and that the pain she was feeling wasn't real.
Sebastian began to get the overlay of memories from her dream. Tears began to track their way down his cheeks. Oh Angel...oh, love...everyone is fine. You saved us! Let me save you. Let me share your burden! Please, Angel, please don't leave me...I'm here and I can help,
Angel's body didn't move at all, not even breathing. Her tears the only thing to show that she was alive. I can't move... I don't think I can use my powers... She paused a moment before her voice lightened a little. I would never leave you Sebastian. I'll be your guardian angel forever, always watching over you... I love you. Things suddenly went black and her dream seemed to have stopped. "Sebastian?" Angel asked as she rolled over in his arms to look at him. "I just had a, a weird dream..."
Sebastian, awoken by her voice tugged her closer. "I did too...you were pretty hurt...I think...I was dreaming of something but then...was I in your dream? I might have dreamed it..."
"Sebastian, I think you did come into my dream..." You saved me. Thank you, Angel smiled slightly and leaned in to lightly kiss him.
Sebastian kissed her back, his hands lightly rubbing her back. Of course! I can think of nothing else I would do in that situation! I love you, Angel. Seeing you in pain makes my heart ache. I am just going to have to fight beside you, keeping goons in easy reach. I...I don't know what I would do if I lost you...it terrifies me like...like...well, quite frankly more then being swallowed whole by a megaladon and having to be alive while I am digested by it.
