Cassidy beamed. Her team had won and she had scored the most points. She dried herself off and grabbed her things. She headed iver to her new home. There were a ton of boxes in the living room. Everything still had to be unpacked. She sighed. At least she might get some help from someone else tomorrow.

As she was riding her bike she Stopped next to a tree and looked at the sky not realizing that she would fall asleep so easily. And she did!

Cassidy shoved certain boxes into certain rooms. She decided to start with her bedroom. It was bigger than her old one for certain. There was a window in the middle of the wall farthest from her. There was another door about two feet from the one she entered in, which she presumed was the bathroom. She sighed and began to unpack.

Addi entered into the changing room and found a locker. Placing her things inside she slipped off her clothes and into her bikini. Grabbing her key and her book she locked up her stuff and headed out to the pool area. Claiming an empty lounge chair next to the pool Addi sighed happily. She always enjoyed lounging by the pool with a good book. Just as she was about to open her book she spotted Dax entering from the other end with his classic swim trunks on.
Dax looked over and smirked. Walking over to Addi he sat down in the chair next to her. "I didn't expect such a beautiful lady to be here." Addi laughed and rolled her eyes, "Oh come now Dax we both know you don't have any attraction to me. And you would have known I was coming if you had texted." Dax chuckled at his friends attitude. They had been friends since childhood and shared everything. Unlike other relationships though it had yet to be spoiled with love. Dax had never held a flame for Addi and Addi had always dreamed of the capitol's matching ceremony she had never so much as looked at a boy.
Dax stood up and looked around, "Well then I'm gonna get myself a drink you want something?" Addi smiled, "I'd love a cherry Italian soda right now." Dax rolled his eyes why had he even asked? She always asked for the same thing. Walking away he headed for the drink shack located inside the food court section. Waving to the server he orders the soda for Addi and a plain old rootbeer for himself.
Walking back over with their drinks he set them down and Addi smiled taking a sip. "Thanks."
Dax nodded and didnt bother asking if his friend wanted to join him in the water she was too wrapped up in her book to pay him any attention. Leaving her to watch his soda he headed over to the water and walked right in ready to have some fun.

Rosemary smiled as she and Bear walked past the pool to head to the stables Beau was at. She gave a small whistle and heard Beau nicker back before pawing in the stall. Rose couldn't help but laugh. "Sounds like you want to get out" she said as she grabbed his bridle. She didn't really ever use her saddle since Beau was so gentle with her, though he refused to let anyone else ride him. Once the bridle was on she hopped on Beau and headed down the trail with Bear right next to them.

Paige continued her jog with her stepmom then they turned around and headed back to Paige's house. "I can't believe that I get to spend time with you, stepmom", Paige said to her stepmom. Paige's stepmom (Nicole) said, "I'm very happy that you said that, but maybe next time your father can come with us", Paige smiled at that, then Paige and her stepmom returned home to relax.

Troye rubbed his eyes. Everyone knew the capitol worked him way too hard. At least it kept him busy. The main reason he kept his job was because the capitol was silently forcing him to, but it also kept him away from his loneliness. Of course that would change tomorrow.

Cassidy had to stop unpacking to go pick up Lise. They went to the park again right after, just to relax. Lise loved the park. She would spend most if her time in the flowers or with her other cat friends while Cassidy read.

When Melissa woke up from under the tree she must have been there a while but it was still sunny out She got up sort of embarrassed but was satisfied with her nap. She got on her bike and rode home to get her dog and run again.

Troye's shift here was finally over so he stuffed his things into his backpack and left the building. He was going to stop at a restaurant for lunch then head back to work again. He currently had three jobs, all working for the capitol. He stood in line once again and looked at the menu.

Paige and her stepmom returned home, and soon Paige's dad said, "How was the jog?", and Paige answered, "It was good", Paige's dad smiled. Paige then played with her dog Cookie while Paige's dad was speaking to Paige's stepmom. Paige and her dog headed to the living room to play.

Troye realized that he missed lunch and sighed. It didn't really matter. He didn't really eat lunch anymore. He picked up some chicken and went to his other job. It was in the same building. His boss called him a couple minutes after he sat down to tell him that he was allowed to go home because tomorrow was the Matching Ceremony. He thanked him and quickly got up. He took all of the things he needed and went home.

Someone rang the doorbell and Cassidy went over to grab it. Her mother greeted her with a warm hug followed by one from her sister, Tracy, who was four years younger than Cassidy. She invited them inside and they sat on pillows on the floor because her living room things hadn't been unpacked yet.

Chiora's eyes wandered to two people talking and drinking. She slid underwater, coming back up and smiling. She looked over to where the water polo game had been, and smiled. She crossed her arms, watching everyone. "Anyone could be my soulmate." She said softly, her breath not even above a whisper.

Bonnie was back on the bench, and waved at a girl and a woman jogging. She wished she was active. She gave them a smile.

Grey sighed, flopping onto his bed. He shifted, staring out the window. "I wish for a person who's sweet and nice..." He said softly, blinking slowly.

Rosemary and Bear got back to the house as she headed to her room to check on the dress. She laughed as Bear jumped onto the bed and laid down. "I might not be able to take you for a walk tomorrow" she said.

James headed back home and laid down. *Great* he thought. *Going to be matched tomorrow and there is no telling who it will be.*

Addi sat on her lounge chair reading her book, 'Harry potter and the chamber of secrets.' Apparently it had been such a popular book of make believe that when the world was deciding which 100 books to keep this book and the other 6 after it had survived and become one of Addi's favorite things to read. Of course Addi couldn't hold the actual book in her hand but her book reader allowed her to enjoy the words the same as if it really was in her hands. Addi was distracted every once in a while when the water polo members would cheer after a goal or a crying child and mother walked past her. But she continued reading until she finally found a good stopping point and put her book down finishing her drink Addison got up then and walked over to the edge of the pool not far from her chair and sat down.
Dax having spotted the movement of his best friend smiled and swam over to her. "You finally ready to join me? I can rent us some floats and we can have some fun over at the wave pool?" Addi liked that idea.
"Fine but you paid for the drinks I can pay for the floats." Grabbing her book reader she headed to the locker room leaving Dax alone for the moment to lock up her reader and grab out the two dollars needed to rent two floats for them. Heading back out she walked over to the floats stand to rent them a few floats. Heading back over her and Dax spent the rest of their pool day hanging out in the wave pool and not talking about tomorrow at all.

After about an hour, Chiora got out of the pool, and dried off. She slid on her coverup, grabbed her pool bag and started to head home. She sped up as she realized her mom would be angry if she found her not there at curfew. She reached her house, bounded upstairs, and grabbed her pjs. She wore a black onesie with little skulls on it. She ran her towel and swimsuit to the laundry room, and stepped out onto her little balcony. She set down her comforter and blankets, getting under them and falling asleep under the stars.

Bonnie had fallen asleep reading, and her dad had taken her inside to the room she and Grey shared. She was fast asleep as Grey tapped away on his computer.

Troye lived in a penthouse. All the workers his rank and up did. It really was quite nice, he had put in all the technology himself. He went to his bedroom and put his backpack on his bed. He got out the box with his suit in it and frowned when he opened it. It was red. He ordered a blue one. Oh well... he went ti bed anyway. He was way too tired to care.


Cassidy chatted with her family. Tract was really excited for her and went on and on about how cute the boys in her year were and which ones she woukd want to be matched with. Her mom just smiled and told her the story of how she met their dad at the Ceremony. They gave her a necklace and a couple of golden rings and kissed her goodbye. Cassidy beamed. Maybe the Ceremony wouldn't be so bad after all. She absentmindedly fell asleep against the wall while she was unpacking.

Paige continued to play with the dog, then Paige's dad turned on the television and watched some shows, Paige's stepmom made some popcorn and eventually they had some fun seeing some shows. "I really have no idea who is going to partner up with me?", Paige wondered then Paige's stepmom said, "I don't know either, hopefully someone that has similar taste as you", Paige asked, "You mean my love of fitness and art", then Paige's dad said, "Don't forget about Mathematics", Paige nodded in agreement and said, "Exactly". Paige's dad continued to speak, "I just hope you will have a good time and maybe meet new friends there", Paige smiled, "Thanks dad", she then turned to her stepmom, "Thank you Nicole (Paige's stepmom)".
