My lineless art example in my art store presents itself as 1 million pd, though I do have some bias for it being a personal piece--to say the least lol.

I've recently told another art-looker that I'd got 500,000 pd, minimum per character, for their order which requires me to come up with gijinka designs for the Pokémons that they want. Right now, I have no base design to work with, which would add, at least, another 10 to 15k onto that minimum for guess-work and looking to that back-and-forth.

Though I was just suggesting to Aurora over palpad that I could make reference sheets for Azazeal and Melez first and then we can talk further after the details are cemented 100%. Reference sheets would have flat colours, some sketches of poses/expressions and showcase the accessories--though they wouldn't be lineless.

Reference sheets I haven't done often though, so I'd say at a base price, 40,000 pd for the two of them, accessories and all? Would you both consider that fair?

So 40,000 for the finished pieces sounds ridiculous. I'd be willing to pay far more for your work (which is amazing to say the least). For just the reference sheets that sounds good. Aurora?

Well reference sheets aren't supposed to be super-polished--just polished enough to get concepts across haha.

Honestly I'd charge you both 20,000 pd for the ref sheets. But I had a feeling one (or both) of you would tell me to aim higher haha

Lol, This is too funny! I have to agree with Char. I would want to pay a bit more for the reference sheet. Idk if it's not refined. It's freaking art of Azazeal! It's got me crazy excited!

Yeah, I think the 40k per reference sheet would be worth it. I have no art of my little Melez so, even if it's just a sketch I'm terribly happy :)

Well, my conscience is appeased. I'll put you both in Aurora's slot in my art shop for reference sheets then, yes? XD

You can, though my policy is paying in halves. First half and I start work, and the second half once I'm done ouob

Not to be a pest, but might I see how the pair of them is coming along? I know you have a life outside of PH, but I'm getting antsy and would love to see them :)

I have no good news on that front, though I have been playing around with the idea of drawing several chibis (miniture versions) of them for you guys to get a better idea of their styles--but not digitally, in pencil. At least, I'm PRETTY SURE they have a wardrobe and not just a superhero costume that they were 24/7, yeah?

(Mostly because I think this could be cute, but I haven't come up with even one example to show you guys. So I haven't brought it up orz; )

((And no, this would not be extra expenses, I was going to do something similar in colour, digital for the reference sheets--but not in chibi-style.))

Whatever you think is best! I'm a patient person, so take your time. If you wanted us to go over what they wear I think we could do that if you wanted/needed :)

I hate saying that I'm "unmotivated to do art", but I'd be lying if I said that wasn't the case as of late ugh. It's like...bursts of creativity, shall we call it? Annoying if you want to do proper business and the like...and that's why I'm not working on an illustration or graphic design degree, hurk.

And definitely will keep that in mind! (Is it too typical to put couples in couple costumes? Theme-wise, I mean)

I can totally relate!! I'll be like "i wanna draw something... I'MMA DRAW AN EPIC DRAGON!!!" And then once I have everything set up i'll be like "Nah, I'mma go browse Imgur." It's fine!

Theme wise I think they're pretty good. Aurora, are their outfits somewhat similar? Melez's is basic cloth and leather stuffs...

Azazeal is a show off, a gentleman, almost young lord like in his wardrobe. He can go simple jeans and a t-shirt but he has a dramatic flare for stuff so he loves to dress to the nines if he can. But I can so see him matching Melez, wearing more 'basic' clothes to match her.

So basic, but still nice-looking yeah? (Kinda makes me wonder what they'd wear if polite society didn't insist on clothing being a requirement)

Yes, still nice looking. And Azazeal? Well...he's kind of...very confident with himself so if society dictated he didn't have to wear clothes? Hmmm...he might just decide he didn't need them and go with tattoo's, most likely tribal or part of his mother's culture. Maybe a mantle of fur.

Melez is definitely self conscious, so she'd be dressed XD Even if it's something small like the outfit Azazael made for her. She loves that so much...

I could see her in a pair of nice shorts, or an earthy toned skirt, and a nice top. If she was being fancy, the most she'd do is borrow something from Eona...
