In case you can't get your hands on a Soothe Bell but urgently need one, you can also go to the Fancy Salon and make use of the Acupuncture treatment. It'll have the same effect. ;) (After the treatment is done, you'll be asked whether or not you want to evolve your Pokémon in case it can evolve via happiness.)

Also, since people keep asking, I inculded information about where to get the items from in the first post. ^^ (Did I miss something?)

I've given my poliwhirl a water stone, but it hasn't evolved yet. Anything else I need to do? It's level 36 now.

Take the item away from the Poliwhirl, go into your item bag, and use the water stone instead of giving it. That will evolve your Poliwhirl :3

Exactly the way it says on the front page :)

Just 'use' a Prism Scale on it and it'll evolve.

I know in the main games, Inkay evolves at lvl 20 when you hold your 3DS upside down, but how do you evolve him here?

On PH, you don't need to do anything special. It'll just evolve at lvl 30 by itself.

@gmatthews, idk if you found out yet but if my guess is correct mime jr. should evolve when it reaches a certain level. (i think level 15 but sure) also, soothe bells can sometimes be found in the item shop. (or you can trade/buy from others)
