Well... Alphys can die, you just can't kill her directly. At least, that's how I interpreted it, though I don't think that's actually canon. Others think it's heavily implied as well.

it's heavily implied she commits suicide if you kill Undyne and/or Mettaton, the ones she is the closest too. This is backed up when Mettaton runs out of battery power, she says "I would have.." implying suicide. Also, she mentions doing something cowardly in the True Lab. Finally, if Mettaton becomes ruler of the Underground, he states he tried looking for Alphys, saying "Trust me, I've looked", and due to the fact he lives with her, he'd know she would hide in the true lab.

Gosh darn guys, Mettaton is my favourite and is the only death scene that brings a tear to my eye, you just want to see me suffer.

Who is your favorite undertale character? I have to choose? Awh man. I would say Undyne or Muffet, i don't know why, Undyne is who i really want to be and Muffet. I hate spiders, but. Muffet is just too cute to kill. Genocide players can go now.

Seems the Undertale hype has mostly died out.
Is a shame, I only got into it late Decemeber, when the fandom was beginning to go. I still love it though <3
