Also I noticed that:

>everybody calls Toriel "mom"
>everybody calls Asriel "child"
>everybody has problems with calling Asgore "dad"

I love goat dad lol.

Sans is not dad. No.

Although, animations where Sans is dad are HILARIOUS. But no, goatdad is best dad

This is an opinion. Do not attack me for having it.

I see Sans more to an brother or uncle than dad to Frisk

but most people just seems to "SANZRIELZ!!1" Toriel as a mom and Sans as the father totally forgetting about Asgore

The king is almost completely forgotten among the fandom lol. I've seen lots of Temmie, Asriel, Flowey, Papyrus, Sans, Toriel, Muffet, etc usernames. I am yet to see ONE Asgore

I usually call Asgore Mr. Dad Guy but sometimes I just call him Asgore or goatdad. idk

I usually call Toriel goatmom yes

But I usually just call Asriel by his name, not goatchild.

and omg asgore is like my second favorite character he reminds me of an awkward mix of me and my irl dad and its like if any one character could come to life i'd want it to be asgore so i could just drink tea with him and aaaaaa

also guys i do not know how to pronounce Chara or Amalgamate. how do you pronounce them?

I pronounce Chara as "Char (like charmander)-uh" and Amalgamate as "Uh-mall-guh-met". It might be my weirdo accent/my inability to speak properly but

I put this in spoilers since technically both of these words are spoilers so

Chara is actually short for "Character" so you say it "care-uh." I say "uh-mal-guh-mate"

However, Toby said that everyone can say stuff how you want to.

Also, don't forget to put spoilers in spoiler tags aaah

@bellric I pronounce those names the same as you, but since Chara's name is based off the word CHARActer, its probably pronounced Ka-rah.
I usually think of the names strangely though, like reading Papyrus as pa-pee-rus and Flowey as Flow-ee instead of pa-pie-rus and flou-ee. I guess I usually pronounce regular words differently in my head too, like reading "151" and thinking "one oh one".

[spoiler] welp, Brazil and USA pronunces are different

but most brazilians would say Chara as "tcha-ra"

and Amalgamate translation is "Amalgama". A-mewl-gah-mah"

((Edit: dONT USE IT ITS BAD))

Also, my pronunciations are a bit weird
Show hidden content
Chara = Char-uh (like a few other people 'v')
Papyrus = Pup-pie-russ
Amalgamate = Uhm-owl-guh-mate (every once in a while it's uhm-mall-guh-mate)
Gaster = Gas-stir
Undyne = Un-dine
Alphys = Owl-fees (and the "fees" sounds like "fleece" without the L)
Asgore = As-gore (i've heard some people say "a**-gore", so eh)
Asriel = As-real (^)
Mettaton = Met-uh-tun (and I actually say E-X for the other form)
