Forum-Index → Roleplay → Westview Academy (RP thread)Spencer blushed slightly when Sean ruffled his hair and let out a nervous laugh. "I-if I didn't try to be a showoff, you wouldn't be dragging me to my dorm. Not that I don't mind the help th-" he told Sean before being cut off by the thud of Seraphina falling. "What was that?!" Spencer asked quickly with panic in his voice before finding himself moving alongside Sean again. He clutched onto Sean's arm a bit tighter before he heard Sean's question. "Oh, it's room number 129 ... I think."
Shay collected her things and walked to the next class. She told herself Spencer would be alright as he was under the protection of Sean. Upon entering the classroom, she dropped her things in a seat before storming out of the classroom, making her way to the headmistress' office. Instead of clearing permission with her secretary or knocking, she barged into her office. "Take the hex or the spell or the whatever-the-hell thing you put on my brother off." she demanded.
(If someone else could control Adeline Harris, that would be great ;o)
Sasha stopped as Brandon broke off from her, taking a seat in the back of the class. She turned and ran, back to where Sean and Spencer were standing, tears pricking at her eyes. Her heart ached to be alone, to go home, but she looked up at the two and said in a whisper, "I'm sorry. I didn't mean for this to happen. You may not have noticed it, but I was stretching when Mr. Pratt called on me."
"Hey, are you gonna stay with me in my dorm ... or are you gonna leave?" Spencer asked quietly while raising his head slightly.
Angelica looked at her crumpled schedule in her hand. "They give me a schedule but no directions..." She shook her head. "Amazing!" She groaned. The female looked around the hall. "Might as well find an office or something.."
Upon hearing Spencer's quiet question, Sean chewed on his lip as he thought about it for few seconds. "Well, you are kinda blind and I dunno whether you should be just left by yourself. Besides, I don't really have anything better to do. Buuut if you wanna be alone and kick me out, that's cool too." The lad gave his friend a worried look, this seemingly timid Spencer was so different from earlier that Sean wasn't sure how to properly adapt to the change. When the correct door came into view, the lad pushed any worries out of his voice as he came into a stop in front of the door, "Ah-hah! Here's 129, let's see if it's truly your box or not. Do you have the key?"
"Stand back, I don't know how good my aim will be while I'm blind." he warned Sean while taking a step back himself, bringing his left arm in front of him and swung it backwards causing the dorm door to fly open. Becoming unbalanced from this swing, Spencer placed both of his hands on the edge of the doorframe in an attempt to regain balance.
So what happened was that Spencer (Taipopo's character) basically talked back to Adeline Harris who didn't like it much and thus decided to make him blind for the rest of the day until his detention. After some butthurt feelings being thrown around, Sean (my character) led Spencer out of the classroom and the two started making their way into the dorms. While they were on their way, the science class ended and a few characters made their way to language class. Sasha (Dragonsoul's character) decided to follow Spencer and Sean out of what I assume was guilt for putting the events in motion and tried to explain herself. The two guys weren't too cooperative though. Sasha then decided to skip language class and went to her room instead.
Meanwhile, Angelica (YodelQueen's character) is hopelessly lost in the school hallways and Shay (Taipopo's second character) bumps into her briefly. Seraphina (xCharizardx's character) sees this on her way to the nurse's office and seems to be suffering from a rather headache at the moment.
So that's basically it. Language class is about to start while some characters are doing their own thing.))
Sean was a bit taken aback when Spencer used his powers to fling the door to his room open while being blind. Not to mention using powers without supervision was still against the rules and what temporarily cost Spencer his sight in the first place. Sean let out a sigh as his friend stumbled and grabbed onto the door frame for balance. Sean wasn't the type of guy who worried about anything really but this particular guy would eventually become the death of him if he continued to hang around him. Too bad the guy wasn't all bad qualities or Sean might've been able to save himself before Spencer dragged him down.
Oh well, he wasn't screwed yet and the future wasn't set. It was best not to throw 'what if's around for the time being. "You know, the traditional method of opening doors has been proved to be rather effective time and time again. Why don't you give it a try next time, especially if you happen to be unable to see," Sean suggested as he started ushering Spencer inside the room.
"Well, I didn't have the key. Plus I wanted to see if I'd lose my hands or something for the rest of the day if I did that." Spencer told Sean as found himself moving again.
"Could you help me lie down? I think I just need to rest my head for a bit..." he asked Sean as politely as possible. Deep down inside he was very grateful for what Sean had been doing to help him. He decided he'd say thank you, again, once he was resting.
Spencer's request for help brought Sean out of his rather morbid but kind of amusing speculations and the lad was quick to get to his friend's side, "Sure, no problem." It didn't take long to get the other boy over to the bed and lying down as the rooms weren't exactly big. "You need help with anything else?" Sean asked nonchalantly after he had completed his task.
"Shades of green and aqua blue
The sea painted a thousand hues
Beneath thundering ocean wave
Out of the reach of mariners graves
A living testimony swims in majesty
once the rulers of the sea
A whale song rings from beneath the ocean
A song of praise and true devotion
To the God of creation and of the sea
A sea being robbed by cruel thieves
The whale song drifts silently away
The hands of man have silenced their praise
As God looks down in his majesty
As tears trickle down on the silent sea."
She sighs, gets back up and continues to wander without purpose.
(I apologize for not posting... I have been very busy as of late and starting Sunday I will be absent for 10 days. So I will give someone the reigns for this role play and will return as quickly as I can.)
