Important bug fix: There was a bug today that has let you claim last year's easter event reward. This is a bug for two reasons: A) The prize distribution starts tomorrow; B) The reward is a new Pokémon!

All rewards that have been obtained from this event today have been removed. You can claim your proper reward tomorrow!
I am sorry for the inconvenience.

The Egg Vouchers (Uxie, Azelf, Mesprit, Retro Starter, Retro Mew) are now tradeable! In your Item bag, they are no longer listed as "Vouchers" but instead as"Other".
They also received little icons thanks to Klepto!

Also awesome news: Every 50th Azelf/Uxie/Mesprit egg that you hatch is now automatically shiny! (You can check your PokéDex to see how many you've hatched so far).

Important: If you've already exceeded 50 eggs for one species in the past, then please send me a PM with a link to one of these Pokémon that have been hatched by you and I'll make them shiny for you. (If you've already hatched 100+ you can send me 2, for 150+ you can send me 3 links and so on)

Ranklist Update:
-> Locked users are now no longer displayed on ranklist*. They re-appear, however, once their (temporary) ban is over.
-> The Common wealth now only takes users into account who have been active within the last 3 months. This makes this number a lot more precise and useful; since it's really irrelevant to see how much PD inactive users have.

* This excludes the "Most Wonder Trades" (uses a different system than the other ranklists), as well as the "Strongest Pokémon"

The Gem Collector received an update:
At the bottom of the page, it now tells you the total amount of gems that you've already spent on gem trades with the gem collector himself.


The Gem Collector now also offers permanent discounts for extremely trustworthy trading partners! You unlock increasing discounts depending on how many gems in total you've spent on buying eggs from him:

08/06/2020:

Rumble Update: Every rumble area now has an "exploration level" which slightly increases with every mission that you finish. Before this update, only the six default areas had this level.
A high exploration level yields more PokéDollars per mission and also increases the maximum amount of items that you can find.

Not really "minor", but...

A new feature has been added to the Global Trade Station: The Item Market! You can now very easily sell your items to other players for PokéDollar - or browse for items that you currently need and want to buy. The system is very easy to use and extremely useful for simple & quick deals.
You also have the possibility to set up advanced search filters for your frequently requested items. There you even have the possibility to be notified whenever a trade is posted that matches your selected criteria!

A link to the Item Market can be found on the front page of the Global Trade Station (Will be replaced by a fancy image in the next few days)

You can now use all the emojis that you know from pretty much any other messenger on PokéHeroes! 😁👌❤ They can be used in pretty much all important places (forums, feeds, PMs, Palpad, profile, ...) with only minor exceptions.

This completely replaces our old emoji system. Typing ":)" for example will no longer result in a (hideous) smiley. (Getting a little nostalgic now, though, looking back at the very first post of this thread)

Tip for PC users: You can also use these emojis! For example when using Windows, right-click on the text field and select "Emojis". Enjoy! 😍😉

Today we have implemented quite a bunch of minor updates:
➡ UI Design: At the daycare, the "Releasing in..." countdown has been replaced by an icon symbolizing the Tall Grass (to which the eggs are sent once the 24h-countdown hits zero). Additionally, the amount of minutes remaining until a Wide lens scanning process is completed is now also displayed directly next to the lens.
➡ UI Design: When searching for items or buying them at the Item Market, the page now automatically scrolls down to the "Search items"-area, making that process a little more user-friendly. Prior to this update, the page always skipped to the very top when searching for something or making a purchase.
➡ Game Balancing: The gem distribution at the Royal Tunnel has been rebalanced. We implemented a limit of 100 gems that you can find per day. The reason for this is (sadly) the increasing amount of cheating that happened at this feature recently. While we are obviously able to catch these cheaters sooner or later, they can still cause a quite significant harm to our game's economy until we are able to take action (we always make sure to collect solid-proof evidence; that's why it sometimes takes a bit of time). However, it is worth to note that this new limit should hardly affect our regular players, as 100 gems in one day would take (on average) around 1,500 level completions. Only a very very slim minority of our users (except for those who've used a cheating tool in the past) are able to achieve that much in one day. I am, nonetheless, very sorry for those who play fairly and are now negatively affected by this chance. I hope you understand our reasoning!
➡Removed feature: Due to our most recent server update (security reasons & to enable modern emojis), the Herochat (which uses a super ancient coding framework) has stopped working and was now removed completely. Since there has been an extremely small demand for this feature in the recent years anyway, it is unsure whether this feature comes back again or not.
➡ Game balancing: The Daycare breeding chances for Dex legendaries have been increased significantly. Prior to this update, hunting - for example - all forms of Arceus' (with premium & flute) would've (statistically speaking) taken almost 2 years. This is unreasonably long and it was therefore decided to make this feature easier.

I now that these updates are a bit mixed - some more positive and some a bit unfortunate - but you can expect more positive updates coming soon! 😊

(UPDATED)

Auction House: Your bid is now automatically refunded once you are outbid - you no longer have to wait until the auction has ended. (If you placed a bid before this update then you might still need to wait until the auction ends)

Gem Cauldron: The Gem Cauldron has been rebalanced and received several updates:
➡ You no longer lose your gems when the boiling fails. The gems are only removed from your bag when the boiling is actually going to produce an item. Instead, you now have a "10 minute cool down phase" when you fail to put in all gems in time.
➡ The use of the "Odd Incense" has been changed: Instead of giving you more time for the mini game, it now cuts the time which the cauldron needs in order to boil an item in half. This means that you can boil, for example, a Mega Stone within 24 instead of 48 hours. Odd Incenses are automatically used when you have one in your bag & start a successful boiling process.
➡ The mini game has been made a little easier. You are granted a little more time per gems now.

Tall Grass:
➡ The Item "Egg Radar Chip (Galarian)" is now available at the Item Shop. It is unlocked once you have access to the Galar region. It allows you to search for Galarian eggs in the Tall Grass. It costs 25,000 PokéDollar.
➡ The Item "Egg Radar+" is now available at the Item Shop. Buying this update permanently upgrades your Egg Radar to find potential hiding spots twice as fast (basically it cuts the waiting time in half). This item can be bought in the "Special"-section for 200 Nuggets.

The forum received an update:
Suggestions forum: The overcomplicated system of classifying suggestions as "Emera Town", "Trading", "Battling" etc. has now been removed. Instead, all suggestions must simply be put in the main "Suggestions"-forum.
There is, however, a new subforum called "Most Popular". This subforum lists the most popular suggestions (based on the community's rating; with at least 40 votes). Threads there are only links, they aren't actually moved in there.

Mod-approval: New threads in the "Suggestions" and in the "User-made contests" now require approval by a moderator. When posting a new thread there, it will first be invisible to the public until a moderator approves it (the creator of the thread will be able to see it, though, and also make edits while it's still pending approval). Please read the subforum's rules before starting a new thread in order to have your thread approved.
You can find a comment with an explanation by a moderator in case your thread is rejected.

The forum & the "Edit signature" setting have been update with a live preview of your post! You can now directly see how your post is going to look like while typing. The BB-Codes are automatically translated on the go. Try it out!

Also, three user suggestions have been implemented:

➡ As suggested here, you can now see a preview of your Custom panels in the "Profile layout" setting. You can even switch between a Mobile & a Desktop preview to see how it looks on different screen sizes. This feature also utilizes the new "live preview".

➡ As suggested here, you now receive Activity Points (for Event Distributions) from Fishing at the beach. 1% of energy spent equals 1 AP. These APs count towards the "Other" category.

➡ As suggested here, you can now see directly in the notification popup whether your hatched Pokémon is shiny and/or mega-able.

The Item Market now lets you change the prices of your items after they have already been put up for sale. (You get a warning notice in case you attempt to buy an item and the price suddenly changes). For convenience, it now also shows you the current best price as well as a price recommendation below your currently set price.

On top of that, price ratings have been added! You can now easily see whether an item is considered "cheap", "fair priced" or "expensive". Note that these ratings depend on the current market values of these items. "Cheap" means that items of this kind are normally sold at a slightly higher price; while "fair" is the average and "expensive" means that better deals are available from time to time.
Some items don't have a price rating yet, as there is not enough data about them yet. More successful purchases are necessary for more precise estimations. The rating automatically adapts and becomes better and better over time.
