The Wiki Article on Mega Pokémon tells you everything required for Mega Evolution.

In short, a Pokémon needs to have a Mega Bubble (Pokémon with these bubbles are sometimes called Mega Able or Mega Powered on-site) which they can obtain randomly when hatching. Then you need to give the Pokémon a Mega Stone to hold, and it will permanently Mega Evolve after it reaches Level 50 or higher and all these conditions are met.

How can we be sure we've found all of the Easter eggs if we've lost count? Some of them are pale-coloured, and it's difficult to tell if they're no longer "faded" to denote that we still need them.

EDIT: Ochay, thank you for your help, hun! In that case, I think I got all of them, but I'll post to be sure. ♥

"Inspect element" on the eggs ;)
If there's an 'opacity' line after the egg-code, it hasn't been found [yet]
Alternatively, you can take a screenshot of your Easter page, so others can compare and contrast to help figure out which you found and which are still hidden.

Not sure where to look for this but Prof. Rowan has been offering me an quest to find Machine Parts for a day now at least. He tells me to tell my pokemon to look for them in the rumble areas, but no matter where I look I don't seem to be able to find them? Am I doing something wrong? Or is it just random draw of luck that I'd get them?

The six standard rumble areas have one Machine Parts each and the chances to get them are random, you're probably just having some bad luck. Just keep rumbling, you'll eventually found them. It takes awhile for some people so don't worry about it.

You should keep note of which areas you've already gotten a Machine Part from to avoid any confusion.

When i went to the lab, when i had 203 dex entries, Prof. Rowan did not give me a resolute stone. Why was it like that?
Sincerely,
razorblade620.

It's randomly triggered after reaching the goal.

1. How do you get gems for the gem exchange?
2. I saw a thread near the bottom of the list here about a shadow Mewtwo and gold pokeballs. What is the deal there? I freaking love Mewtwo!

You can get Gems in various different ways. From Rumble Missions, Opening Mystery Boxes and buying them from other users are just a few. You can also get them by exploring the Royal Tunnel or Spinning Golden Game Chips in Plus Slots.

Shadow Mewtwo & Golden Pokéballs are rewards that Professor Rowan gives from his quests (where he assigns you the task of leveling up his Pokémon and getting it to a higher level than Professor Oak's [at least I believe it's Oak it's been so long since I've done the quests] by a deadline) which he randomly asks you to help him out with when you visit the lab.

What is the "Auto Level" in battling? Also, is there any etiquette I should know before I jump in to battle requests with random folks? Thanks in advance~

"Auto-level" is a way to make battles more fair and/or more challenging [depending on what you want]. It automatically sets your pokémon to that level.
For example, with Auto-level 50, if you had a level 1 Pichu in your Battle Team, it would be Level 50 during the actual battle, but only during the battle.

Thank you! Sorry, a little more I'd like to clarify, though--if I send a battle request with, e.g., auto level 50, will that make both players' Pokemon level 50, or just mine? If someone else sends me a battle request, do I have the chance to see what they've set the auto level to before I accept/decline?

Sorry for all the questions, just trying to understand what preferences to list before I make a post in the random battle request thread.

Both players would be set to Level 50 :)

Whoever sends the request gets to decide what the Auto Level for both players will be if they choose to have one.

Can someone please help me? I've got an Eevee i want to evolve into a Glaceon and a Alolan Vulpix. Do i need an icy rock to evolve them or is it something else?

You need the area 'Snowy Mountains' to evolve the Eevee into Glaceon [Unlocked by getting Rocky Cave to level 5]
You can find an Ice Stone in the newest rumble area 'Alola' to evolve Vulpix (Alola) into Ninetales (Alola)
