	I've not watched many PokeTubers but the best one the few I have is MissingnoXpert. He has a 'Let's Glitch' series of Yellow and Blue. He's the easiest to follow that I've come across and the most entertaining. His commentary while he performs the glitches is hilarious. [Read more]

I have the app but don't see any justice to the hype. There is so little to it that I'm baffled as to how it's such an attention commander. I haven't been playing long and it's now lost mine.

Granted, I knew before installing it that this game wasn't really for me because I don't get out and around enough. I've caught almost all the available Pokemon in my immediate area which doesn't include starters. So to evolve my Charmander and Squirtle I'd have to hatch a load of eggs which is inconvenient given my former statement.

Additionally, I don't appreciate that it's an avaricious battery vampire.

I much prefer the console games and am looking forward to Sun and Moon.

Since there is a Saddest/Worst moments in pokemon I figured we should have a thread to discuss best moments as well.

Here are mine:

Games
Leaf Green: Having begun with Charmander I had presented myself with a challenge getting through the first gym match with Brock. At this point nothing that is strong against rock is offered apart from the starters. So I went in with Charmander, Pikachu and Ratatta. Horrible team to on a Rock gym leader. Naturally Charmander and Pikachu were easily KOed and it came down to my Ratatta called Hurricane and Onix. It took time but with a combination of tail whip and quick attack Hurricane KOed Onix. I was so proud! Can you just imagine that in the anime, a tiny Ratatta KOing a huge Onix with Quick Attack! XD
Hurricane remained on my team and now as Radicate is training to take on the Elite 4 with me.
I have come to dislike my trainer name but this is a rare occasion where I value the file too much to start a new one just for that and I have a shiny Machop I found in Victory Road.

Red: In one of my many red files I was taking on Sabrina's Alakazam and my Pokemon were all KOed leaving a heavily undertrained Pikachu. I sent it out and selected one of it's attacks at random knowing and accepting that I was about to be defeated. That random attack was Seismic Toss, Alakazam was KOed and Sabrina was defeated.
Me ->

Silver: After going through hell to find my way around the freaking maze that is the whirl islands, I finally find Lugia only to realize when I am ready to attempt capture that the only ball I had on me was a single great ball. I decided to hell with finding my way back I'll just keep restarting until the great ball works. Or not, it catches on that first try. That was awesomely surprising.

Anime

* 'Electric Shock Showdown - Ash finally receives his first earned badge since Brock and Misty handed theirs to him free.
* 'Spinarak Attack' - Jesse and James finally have a decent thing going for once instead of their usually pointless and sloppy attempts (and I love how the Black Arachnid costumes made a brief reprisal in the beginning of the Chinchou episode).
* 'For Crying Out Loud' A woman actually seem to return Brock's affection. Or at least didn't freak out at his advance. He may come on very strongly but he's a good hearted guy who means well.
* The entire Larvatar arc was very well written and developed. I enjoyed it.
* Some of the most interesting episodes IMO had mysterious and in depth story lines such as 'The Ghost of Maiden's Peak' and 'Just Waiting on A Friend'.
* Hypno's Naptime: "It's a water Pokemon, Misty you take it." Though Ash may have said this purely out of finding Psyduck unappealing it was still the ONLY time he ever allowed Misty something. When it came to pokemon he actually wanted such as Togepi and Totadile he was a selfish little a**. True he's only a ten year old child but one can be raised not to be selfish by that age. There are other instances in which Ash was selfish and arrogant but the totadile duel really took the cake for me. He got EVERYTHING else, Misty was more entitled to just this one pokemon.
That entire episode is one of those interesting ones BTW.
*The deleted portion of the first film featuring Mewtwo's childhood.

	Today I turned on my original Yellow cartridge for the first time in a while, changed some of my pokemon's nicknames and caught a gastly for Sabrina (it's so unfamiliar now how the dark type doesn't exist in Yellow hehe). I am in quite a bit of shock that it hasn't died yet. [Read more]

Anime:
*When Misty and Brock leave Ash to return to their hometowns at the end of Johto. Just watched it for the first time the other night and cried. Though I can be a pretty big sap sucker Pokemon is actually something I would not have expected to tear me up.

And Christopher guess what, I'm 27!

*The pokemon tears in 'Mewtwo Strikes Back' as someone else already pointed out.

*Spell of the Unown when little Molly is playing with the Unown blocks and says "Papa please come back".

Games:
*When my original silver died, taking with it everything I valued most from my first two files I ever played (the Silver file and all the pokemon I had traded to it from Yellow).

*Any time I ran into a shiny and let it faint by accident or hadn't paid enough attention until it was too late to know it was shiny.

Gotcha, thanks CarpetMonsters.
Also I forgot to mention I have soft reset in a few games for shiny starters but it never works. When I first begun Soul Silver I did it for an entire week going for a shiny Chikorita but it was in vein and I got tired of it. Ironically I erased that file after Goldenrod as I no longer liked my trainer name which was based on my Twilight obsession which ended last year. That and I now favor Cyndaquil and regretted Chikorita.
I've also done it in Emerald and currently still in the lab being waited on to make my choice in Fire Red as I had been going for a shiny Bulbasaur. Once again no result.

Ah I misunderstood this as well Toothless, apologies but just the same if this were going to be implemented it might as well be to effect all signatures. AutumnStar however pointed out an interesting con to that, how it would reduce Pokemon clicks via signatures.
Ironically it had crossed my own mind to just forbid large, flashy signature images though I believe that is not what Toothless's concern is. I believe what she is saying is that she finds any and all signature images a bother in her Diary.

Alright I see the time it appears to be a little after 10pm right now on the 30th in server time though it's displayed in Military format. So for the one who was concerned the AM/PM display is not necessary.
I am West Coast US so my current time is 2:07 PM also on the 30th.

So in a couple of hours it will officially be time to start. This means I will have more participation time than I thought because I will still be in the 30th for several hours of the event.

I'm not a lucky person, I have never seen many legit shinies.
My first is nothing exciting, it was the red gryadose that all players get in Silver/Gold/Crystal.

I believe the first legit shiny that I actually captured was a Machop in Leaf Green in Victory Road. Others I have captured are a shiny Zubat in one of my Rubies that is now a Golbat (or is it Emerald?) and a Shiny Sneasel in Platinum. I also have a shiny Machoke evolved from a shiny Machop in Soul Silver.
Somewhat recently I also captured a shiny Gastly upon restarting my Crystal but the time was lagged which I was told was a sign of the battery dying, so that was a short lived bit of luck. XP

I've actually also run into several that I did not capture because I either accidentally KOed them or did not recognize them as Shiny. :P
