Inazumi floated silently through the halls of the train, looking for a compartment. She was unaccustomed to the large crowds of people, the loud noises, and most of all, the conversations floating around.

'It's so loud...' She thought as she looked around, trying to find a compartment to go inside. From under her rag, she could see loud, bustling compartments. Her least favorite kind.

'Not one single quiet compartment..? That's a shame...'

Loud noises were disturbing. Bright colors were disturbing. Loud things hurt her ears, and bright things hurt her eyes... And everything on this train was loud and bright. Why couldn't things be quiet and dark?

Inazumi opened a compartment door. It was the quietest one she could find, and it was fairly loud. But it was quiet overall.

Inside the compartment was a large group of Pokemon and a couple humans. The humans were leaving the compartment, and so were a couple of the Pokemon. Most of them stayed behind, but surely, they wouldn't notice her right?

Crossing her 'fingers', Inazumi went to the corner of the compartment and tried to make herself look and seem smaller, hoping with all her might that she wouldn't be seen...

Backstory: Inazumi was orphaned at a young age, since she was found in a side alley. She was raised by these two adults, who did their best to love her, but when she was a young child, they went missing and she was left to fend for herself.

Shizuko looked around slowly. She carefully caressed Meowscarada's head and whispered to it, "What do you want to do now..."

Meowscarada seemed to have no answer and simply gestured towards her.

"You want me to do it?"

Meowscarada nodded.

Shizuko sighed slightly and looked around. There seemed to be multiple trainers who were doing multiple different things at once. Some of them were catching Pokemon, others were socializing with one another.

She wasn't sure about the first option, but she said a big 'NO' to socializing. You see, Shizuko isn't that type of person...

"Meowscarada, please... I can't decide... Please..." Shizuko whispered imploringly.

Shizuko was practically begging now. Her indecisiveness wasn't doing her any good, and what was worse was that she depended on a bit too much on her partner, Meowscarada. She depended on it to help her make decisions most of the time, but there was that one occasion where she would depend on it to help her actually do things. Such as talk to people.

Meowscarada looked around, trying to help Shizuko the most it could. But Meowscarada was feeling a little lazy, and gave up within seconds to lie down against the rock Shizuko was sitting on and sleep.

Shizuko sighed. Well, it seemed as if she was going to have to wait for Meowscarada to wake up if she wanted to do anything...

The game needs to go on, I need to vote... But who do I vote for? She thought.

Kotone, you dummy. You know who you need to vote for. The only way to keep the plot going is to vote for yourself you dummyyyyy... Her internal voice said.

But who knows if it works? Kotone thought back to her inner voice that made the most ~~easy~~ difficult decisions of her life.

Baka, just do it. I don't care if you are a conflicted person with no decision-making skills, just do it for the sake of posts and to make sure that your legal owner won't waste all of their McNuggets to bribe people to 'action'. The voice said back.

Confused at that last part, Kotone was just about to ask her inner self what it meant, but fearing another confusing argument with the internal debator, she just gave in and wrote on her paper:

Kotone fidgeted nervously. She was nervous, frightened, of what would happen now that Paiyoon, one of the 'professional' Omagatoki ~~idk the word~~ players, was dead.

She stared at the piece of paper in her hands, blank and unused. If she had voted for someone, would it have been different? Would there have been a change in the deaths that happened last night?

She pulled out a pen and did the clicky thing that makes it flow ink. She hovered the pen over the paper, thinking of who she should write down. But she couldn't bring herself to write anything at all.

Doing the clicky thing that makes the pen stop flowing ink, she put the pen away and just looked around. Of all the people there, how could she vote for someone to be out if she didn't know if they were suspicious, if they were a Yokai, if they weren't!

i apologize that i used the phrase 'clicky thing' i have no idea how to say it :skull:

"Tetsuo..." Kotone muttered. "You're here too... in this..." Her voice trailed off, lost in her thoughts. But she snapped back to reality when she saw the wreck Tetsuo was in.

She shook her head and said quietly, "I think that the only mistake that can be made is if we fail to identify who is who... that's how we know who is suspicious and isn't..."

She thought for a second. "But if we misinterpret someone's ideas and actions, that could be bad too..." Kotone stopped talking. She could feel someone watching her, as if they were trying to find a reason to suspect her.

Chills ran down her spine as she realized her situation. They were stuck in a PTSD-giving world with scary people, including murderers and who-knows-what.

Looking over at Tetsuo, who was clearly nervous and scared, she couldn't help but feel just the same.

Kotone looked around. She saw a semi-large group of people in one large, clustered place, some whispering anxiously, others... having a moment. She herself was already nervous, that two people were killed in one night.

She looked around nervously. Of all the people there, one of them could've been a murderer.

'Calm down, Kotone. Don't think about the murderers, think about how you're going to survive in this perfectionist's biggest nightmare.' She thought, and anxiously stood up from her sitting position on the grassy ground.

After thinking for a bit, she made her way over to the large group(s). She wasn't planning on listening on in them, just seeing who they were- their personality was her main check. She didn't want to come off as suspicious, or as a stalker, but she was rather curious to know a little more about them. Make note of who was who. Make sure she didn't vote for the wrong person.
