Perhaps this rockruff were part psychic? Maybe connected to lunala or solgaleo in some way? He certainly looked like he could be.

"Knight instructor?" Winter had barely heard of such things...apart from when he had been training as an apprentice the only 'instructor' he'd ever really had was Kiro. Perhaps Shimo just ran things differently.

Meka shrugged. "It's never mattered in our history. And that's not really the end of the story, as I said. Arceus only reformed the world, changed the land, not really affecting the creatures on it too much. As for being stronger than legendaries...I'm not sure. The Outsiders have made that a bit hard to answer. But then again, anything outside this universe is no concern of mine as of right now."

Arceus's children, the legendary Pokémon, didn't like this, so a Mewtwo named Strike gathered all of his brothers and sisters together, where they coordinated a crafty trick to wipe out the human race entirely. The set a chemical in the water supply that stopped them from reproducing for a time, and over time, the human race started to decline a lot. From there, the legendaries went to their father, Arceus to request they 'restore' the world. Seeing as the human race was practically gone, they didn't see why not, and they reformed the world to the legendaries' liking, favoring the lives and happiness of Pokémon." She took a deep breath after that. "There's more to it than that, but King Cryo was among those ancestral Legendaries. No one knows what happened to them, but he left his crown behind."

I don't think there's any particular method. The egg has a chance to spawn in any of the patches of grass, and each time a new field is spawned, the egg is placed in a set location, so if you get it wrong once, the egg will stay in the same place, so you can't click the same spot over and over again. I don't remember what it's called, but there is an upgrade you can buy for the radar that greys out areas you've already checked/nearby areas that don't have the egg in it.

As for legendaries, the simple answer is yes. There are certain legendaries you can find in the tall grass. It usually involves a special item such as a resolute stone(keldeo) or a meltan candy(meltan) for example. However, if you try to hunt say Kyogre, you can't, as it has a different method attached it.

Appearance

Regan is a tall, slim woman with pale skin, green eyes, and hair that is strawberry blonde in color, hanging just passed her shoulders. She is described to have a graceful gait, and a fiery sparkle in her eye, amplified when faced with the adrenaline of battle. She wears a white, rather short dress with sparkling white tights underneath, all lined with gold, giving her a burning look in the light. She wears light grey shoes and matching gloves as well.

Personality

Despite her alliances, Regan is generally a decent person, caring deeply for her pokemon. Albeit with a very short, fiery temper and strict training style and schedule that makes her choice to main the fire type very fitting. She doesn't have the greatest social skills, or much care for the emotions of others. If she thinks someone an idiot, she'll tell them how it is, with no regards to their ego. She also does not take too kindly to being intimidated, and will stubbornly defend herself from anyone if she feels it neccessary.
