After my recent purchase of a mint condition PokéWalker with a new game of SoulSilver (got it for an amazing price, £75 in my local CEX) I've decided to do the impossible.

I'm going to shiny hunt every available Pokémon, from gift Pokémon to Pokémon caught on the PokéWalker and make a living Dex.

I'll add all my friends to my will because this will kill me lol

I'm doing a challenge in Pokemon at the moment which is really going well so I'm going to share it in case someone wants to do it as well (I'm doing mine as a Randomised Nuzlocke so I'll include my extra rules in comments)

Pokemon: ATLA Edition!

Choose one nation to be a part of.
ONLY catch Pokemon that have a type assigned to your tribe:

Fire Nation - FIRE, ELECTRIC, DARK, DRAGON
Water - WATER, ICE, GRASS, POISON
Earth - GROUND, ROCK, STEEL, FIGHT
Air - FLYING, PSYCHIC, GHOST, BUG

You may catch a Pokemon if it WILL gain a type assigned to your nation (ie. An Earth nation player may have Torchic as long as it evolves eventually.)
If by evolving a Pokemon it becomes incompatible to your nation you cannot use that Pokemon anymore.
Normal Pokemon can be caught by all but if it has a second typing then it must be one assigned to your nation or it can't be used (ie. Anyone can catch a Rattata but only members of the Air nation can have Pidgey.)

(Only viable up to Gen 5 due to Fairy)
