Bruh, March weather in Iowa be doing it's normal thing this year. It looks like it's trying to do a blizzard outside right now. Would NOT be surprised if there's low visibility for drivers rn nor if it's slick out there. Thankfully, I don't think it's cold enough for snow banks to show up unless it goes all night (when the temp drops).

Our store needs one more part-timer ever since our last one was extra terrible and never showed up for the one shift she was really hired for and specifically said she'd be great to work, but apparently every time someone suggests one worker who left after her maternity leave she gives a weird face and doesn't say anything. We're all like "okay, she's fully trained and great at the job so did our last store manager or our district manager put her on a do-not-hire list for some unknown reason despite her seemingly giving proper notice on all fronts???"

I almost put my spinner rings in my least favorite habit spot. 💀 I have 5 different spots where I habitually put my two rings I use to stim safely when I'm outside of the house: on my headboard, on the side table about a foot from my bed, on a side table in the living room, on a table in the dining room, or on the kitchen counter. My least favorite spot is the second one on the list because I habitually set all KINDS of things there so it having that spot isn't very helpful.

So, my mom works in the transportation department of the public schools where I live as a manager position. My brother works as a bus associate there, as well. She's on leave for her surgery and my brother is coming home with stories of things he's experiencing now that she's not there and she's like "they literally only had to look at the spreadsheet" to almost everything. She's currently experiencing Murphy's Law through this and I'm just sitting here like "Yeah, any retail worker can tell you that people don't think before they do."

Our puppy, Clyde, does what I refer to as "eating mystery off of the floor" where he starts randomly eating things off the floor. Dust? Crumbs so small no one else saw or felt them? Dog fur recently shed? He doesn't care. He thinks he may have seen or smelled something and he starts licking. For reference, he licks our cabinet doors, too.

Of my family (including my two in-laws) of 8 people, there's now 4 autism diagnoses and 5 neurodivergent diagnoses in general. XD We're taking over the family tree! (Despite that the only NT sibling is the only one who wants kids.) We're handing out malfunctioning brains like candy at a Halloween party! XD

I got home and my mom was watching The Rookie. She was telling me that my brother kept calling one character "Neil Patrick Harris" and I was like "Wait. That's that comedian, right?" Figured out my brother and I were thinking of the same dude. I honestly somehow thought this dude was him, too, even though I know him from HIMYM and that show is not the youngest. I'd seen him in prior seasons and thought it was him. Then we discovered that the actor actually has a twin and that his twin played in Warehouse 13, a show my mom watched and that I sometimes joined her to watch. My inattentiveness was way worse back then, though, so I remember very little of it. STILL...!
