Well, according to some friends of mine, Prof. Oak's Ponyta is on Level 24, so you have to work even harder! But I'm sure you can do it.

Sorry for asking so many questions... I have tried forums, but apparently overlooked. If I adopt a retro egg from the daycare guy, will it break the shiny chain? I know retro eggs technically do, but wasn't sure if it counted as a quest/mission egg
