I made 2 solar eevees breed thinking they will make solar eevees but only to see them breed normal eevee eggs. SO I decided to shiny hunt eevees using the eggs they make. But then I found out of the eggs is a solar eevee egg! Will it break my chain?

Yes, same if you are hunting solar eevee, a regular eevee would break a Solar Eevee chain.(there is a small chance of an event egg when you are breeding event Pokemon)

when you breed event pokemon, there is only a small chance that you get an event egg! most of the eggs will be the regular pokemon's eggs.

you can check by buying the wide lens in the item shop! scan the eggs in the daycare before adopting them to see if they're event or not!
