After buying the Shadow Radar, you can use it to catch Kanto Shadow Pokemon. For Johto 'mon, you have to buy the "Shadow Radar Upgrade (Johto)" which will cost 100,000 PD.

Also, every use of the Shadow Radar costs 200 PD. And you need a lot of Pokeballs/Great Balls/Ultra Balls.

the shadow radar lets you catch shadows! they are only for collection purposes, so if you're not interested in catching and/or selling hundreds of shadows, it's not for you!
