I seem to be having some difficulties with getting a stable stream of eggs for my hunt. I'm currently using the 6 day premium offer in the event sale, and want to get as much out of it as possible, so that I can potentially profit off of what I hatch during this boost.

I have a pair of Altaria in the daycare with the message "The two seem to match perfectly," but I still rarely seem to find eggs. When I got online this morning, probably ~10 hours after logging off for bed, I only had 6 eggs in my daycare. There is still 42000pd sitting in my daycare deposit, and both Altaria have different OT's and are holding Everstones.

Normally I would rely on the tall grass for eggs when my daycare is lacking, but there are currently "0 Pokémon eggs of this species in the Tall Grass."

I'm trying to stock up on gems as well so that I can take advantage of the Gem Collector for more eggs, but I still need to figure out an efficient way to get gems.

Please let me know if I am missing anything obvious, or if this is just how the daycare system works and I'm being impatient/too used to the PFQ/official game daycares. I recently came off of hiatus and have been trying to browse the wiki and forums for help, which has increased my egg count, but not by much.

Basically, this is how the Daycare works. Some days are extremely lucky with eggs, some are really bad. The rarity of a Pokemon also plays a role in the number of eggs I think.
What you could do, is buying White/Black Flutes from the Item Shop to boost your daycare, but they cost Nuggets.

Other methods to make hunts more smoothly would be to prepare Gems a lot (you get quite a nice amount of Gems from sending Dream World Plushies and can actively farm them in the Royal Tunnel). You could invest in some egg storages, so you can store some Daycare eggs there before actually starting the hunt.

I was hoping to use the daycare flutes, but unfortunately I don't have enough nuggets, and I'm quite short on PD right now. That's also part of the reason I was hoping to get some profit from this hunt, that way I can invest more into egg storage and boosts.

For the Dream World plushies, is there any special way I should be farming DP? I am at level 5 dream world currently, and it's going to take quite a long time before I hit 6.

As for Royal Tunnel, should I worry about the Regi eggs that will drop if I finish the stage? I don't currently have any egg storage, and don't really want to start breaking my chain. I think that filling up my party will work, but I don't know if it's worth grabbing them or if I should skip over them anyways.

Edit: oh wait I think I answered the wrong question lmaooo sorry...I think ur the same person tho who asked the other one

it helps to pre-grow at least 2 rows of berries so you can instantly grab em when the harvest berry task appears
also do a gem cauldron thing so you can claim the stone as soon as u get the gem cauldron task
for royal tunnel, I go through beginner path on repeat bc its the easiest
- I ignore the 150 lvls task but if ur desperate for dp and especially if ur dream lvl is low, ig its up to u whether u do it or not
for higher or lower, I purposefully try and lose so I can get the task done faster
