I recently obtained the mega-able Charmander egg from Rowan. When it hatched, the pop-up notification displayed the X mega bubble, while in storage boxes, and on the Charmander's page, it was a Y mega bubble:

Not sure if this also happens to non-gifted eggs, or Mewtwo.

The mewtwo mega bubble was broken for me. When i got the second mewtwo egg from rowan after completing johto dex, it hatched with a mega X bubble in the notification, though the mewtwo itself was a mega Y.

It did that for me too but i thought it was just me

I Just hatched my Mega Charizard Y on 22/03/24 and Mega evolved my other Charizard into Mega Charizard X, AND GOT MY FIRST SM
