There are 6 obtainable explorer bags in total. you can only buy 1 from the item shop, but you get 2 more from completing the first 2 badge sets. and you can get 3 extra explorer bags through rumble missions.
you can also check the wiki page here for more details ^_^

it will take quite some time to get all 6 bags, so you might want to send out your pokemon on 1- or 2-hour rumble missions while you work on your badge tasks, for better efficiency

	@LALVOE did an orthworm egg hatch before one of your sandygast eggs? because if you haven’t hatched a sandygast at all from the moment you turn on the pokeradar then the radar will not have any chain in it until you hatch the first egg so if you hatched an orthworm before hatching a sandygast then it might have caused the radar to register the orthworm as your chain.
