You should have the choice to hide or show your PD amount on your game records. Sometimes you might have not much money and you want to hide your amount of money. Or if you want to show your amount of money you can change the setting to show.

If somebody chose to lie about their PD amount they'd just hide it and nobody would be able to tell if they would be able to pay something.
To me it's good as it is.

No support. When buying or selling something expensive to someone, it's kind of important to know if they have the PD on hand or if you'll be waiting for a long time.

It also has a part on if I'm going to gift PD to my friends or if I need to find something else to gift them because they already have plenty.

Also, is there a real reason to hide your PD from others? There's a ranklist stat so if you are one of the richest on the site it will still be visible anyways.

Pokédollars are the main payment method in this game - they're very often used for trades between two users. So it's very helpful to know if the other user really has the required amount of money, like Honigdieb said.

Apart from that, I doubt that anyone bothers if someone doesn't have many Pokédollar. No one points a finger at poor members here :p
