Forum-Index → Roleplay → Coffee Talk (reboot #2)Brooke sighed.
"He coulda at least helped... now I'm running on an hour of sleep and this espresso. Best espresso I've had in a while."
She sipped from the cup once more.

She rolled her eyes, awfully pleased with that joke. She glanced at the espresso.
"I should recommend this place to my friends. i don't even like espresso and I think it's pretty good."

She whipped out her phone- pink and green. Seemed on brand. All she needed to pull off the stylish punk look was a pack of bubblegum or a lollipop.
She started typing. After a moment, she seemed satisfied, setting her phone down.

In came two- no, three, if they counted the person slung over the tall man's shoulder.
"Let go- Miyasaki! Let go of me-!"
The tall man- Miyasaki, his name was, let the other guy down on his feet.
A girl was next to him, scrolling through her phone, a lollipop in her mouth, like some kid trying to look tough. The girl's hair was short and pink, the tall man's hair was a light shade of golden-brown, and the shorter man was a brunette.
Brooke stared at them, then at her phone.
"...You guys- How the hell?"
Miyasaki shrugged, grinning as he took a seat next to Brooke, sitting backwards in the chair, his arms resting on the backrest.
"I have my ways."
The pink one took a seat as well.
The brown-haired, darker-skinned man sighed.
"And the nap was great, too..."

The tall ne laughed.
"I'll just have a cocoa."
The pink-haired girl glared at Miyasaki.
"Chill out, Miya. I'm Emma. I'll have an ice americano, please."
The brown-haired boy was already dozing off.
Brooke ruffled the brown-haired boy's hair affectionately.
"Wake up, Ajax. It's nearly Noon."
The man muttered under his breath, swearing.
"I have the worst hangover, Brooke..."

Brooke was answering for the brown-haired man, smiling sheepishly.
"DOn't mind him. Someone-" Brooke pointedly glared at Miyasaki. "-forced him to drink last night, and he's a lightweight. His name's Leo."
The brown haired boy muttered out an affirmative response.
Miyasaki shrugged.
"Not my fault our favorite ninja turtle can't hold a glass of soju."
Emma sighed.
"Shut up, Miyasaki."

"Didn't Mona tell you to stop drinking, a--hole?"
Miyasaki rolled his eyes.
"What Mona doesn't know won't hurt her, Emmie."
Brooke Observed Bingo quietly.
"Is that so? A bar, huh? Musta cost a bit."
Leo was snoring quietly. Brooke sighed, gently running her hand through the boy's hair.

She was poring over her notebook. She glanced over at Leo, shaking him awake.
"Ajax. What's number 14?"
The brown-haired boy groaned, his tired eyes peeking out from behind his messy bangs.
"C3H8+5O2->3CO2+4H2O..."

With a very unfortunate rumble and stutter, the coffee machine finished pouring the last drink. "Dang it.." He muttered, glancing at it while placing the drinks down.
"...good tea."
Brooke sipped from her espresso.
Miyasaki somehow managed to down the entire cup of cocoa in a single go.
"Mmh! Hot cocoa!'
Emma sighed.
"I thought elves were supposed to be dignified..."
"Hey! Racial stereotyping much? I thought you succubi were all G-cup w----s! that's not true, is it, ironing board?"

Leo was sleepily leaning on Brooke, sipping from the tea very so often.
Brooke sighed, absently patting Leo on the head.
"Ignore them. They get like this whenever their significant others aren't around."
