“Listen. I don’t intend to have bad connections with anyone. I’m sorry for being too happy with my rank if that’s what you’re annoyed about. But being rude doesn’t help you throw people away. You could just tell me what you don’t like.”

Kinoko’s smile is still on her face, she never forced her smiles, they just appeared.

Kinoko quieted down. And then she swiftly turned and left the sroom. Once she was out of the awful infirmary, she started running, opening doors and making turns until she couldn’t tell where she was.
Soo-ah doesn't say anything to interrupt the two, nor does she do anything to stop it. Of course in her mind, there were a few points she would like to point out in both of their statements, but it'll do more harm than good if she did so. Plus, this is an excellent time, for the two to get to know each other more extensively, to build atleast a slight layer of trust. The small layer of trust that even she couldn't beg her older sister for, for years.
Seeing Kinoko run out of the infirmary, Soo-ah just sighed. After all, trust takes time, time and effort. It's not something you can build overnight.
Decided to chase after Kinoko, Soo-ah gave a small wave and an awkward smile to the nurse, before going after Kinoko down the hallway. Ignoring Andrael and Saeha.
"She can smile," she said to no one in particular. "I can only do that at someone else's expense. I don't see why people are so emotional here..." Andrael shrugged, putting her feet up on the chair in front of her, trying to get the hurt she had seen in Kinoko's face out of her mind.

However, she stood there for a while, trying to think of where to go. Back to Andreal to continue arguing or to the training room to face the professor that she now had more info on. She shook her head and went back where she came from. The curiosity was killing her. As she traced her steps, she found the door. It looked ordinary, but was cold to the touch, unlike the others.
Magnus looked up from his work, at Andrael.
"She's the fakest person here. All she ever does is smile to hide her true nature. Plus, she limits her growth because of her own fear. She's everything you just called that other cadet."
Magnus laughed.
"And don't say you're not interested. Because we both know that's a lie."
"Alright, then"
Professor Wright clicked a button, and a ghoul appeared.
It was green-skinned, and ugly as all hell, groaning, it's face half-burnt off, revealing the bone underneath its' rotting flesh.
wickedness?
Or is it
weakness?
You decide.
"I care about Saeha because she's a lot like me. Her power and mine mirror each other in certain aspects. I know that in another universe, I would have liked a mentor to help me figure things out instead of having to figure it all out on my own. It's why I made my offer. But if she isn't ready, well... I'll leave her to her existence too."
"I don't care about people like the rest of the world does. I am too... Analytical? Jaded? Self interested? Take your pick, Mr. Magnus."

"...she went through a lot. She got pretty seriously injured because of them."

"Hey Ko.. You sure you want to head back inside without thinking?~" Soo-ah whispered into her ear. But despite the sickening sweet tone that Soo-ah used, her gaze was icy cold. Gently, Soo-ah placed her free hand ontop of Kinoko's on the cold infirmary door, as if she was warning her.
"Now don't be rash Kinoko Ongaku, think." This was a very different side of Soo-ah that no one had seen before. Her vibe was completely different. She was sickening sweet like poison, yet colder than an ice bolder. At the moment, despite the fact that Soo-ah had a smile on her lips, her gaze was unreadable.
