"None of you... wish me ill will? Then can you answer my
questions?" She noticed the disturbing lack of response from
[Fleet-Footed Warrior].
But then another pop-up appeared.
It appeared her incarnation wasn't so far away, after all. She
immediately activated [Boundary] and [Winged Sandals], and beagn to
kill the mole heads with ease. 120, 121, 122, 123... She zipped
around the battle field, dodging and swinging her staff. There was
newfound grace to her movements as she took eliminated them. She
waited for the constellations to answer her.
Was she the only one they talked to? Was she the only incarnation
the constellations constantly DMed?
"[Tea at Noon], what is Elias Winter? What is his destiny?
Twilight, what do you want with me?" She whispered, slicing down
even more mole men. Her constellation's response was...
exactly what she would do in a similar situation. That didn't mean
it was any less concerning.
Great, she had a potentially violent constellation that had decided
to physically hurt her because it was bored. At least [Tea at Noon]
was being helpful. "What is the [End]?"
[Constellation [Tea is at Noon] says that the [End] is what the
Faplen Star wishes to witness.]
[Constellation [Tea is at Noon] states that Elias Winter is
dangerous.]
"Who or what is the [Fallen Star]? How many times has the [End]
happened?" More questions flooded in with every answer. The mole
men continued to fall around her.
[Constellation [Tea is at Noon] says that the [End has not happened
once.]
[Constellation [Thousand-Lives Warrior] states that the [Fallen
Star] is a regressor of 125 times.]
[Twilight yawned.]
"Am I boring you, Twilight?" She griped, playing with fire. "Has
the end happened more than once, or not at all? And where is the
[Fallen Star] now? Would he... be interested in meeting with me?" A
living being with answers sounded promising. Perhaps she could ask
a direct question of him and get direct answers instead of playing
these tiring games.
Yohan kept it going at the mole heads. While in the corner of his
eye, he kept his attention on the popping notifications that Alaire
was receiving. Was this snooping? Yes.
But at this point of time, who really cares?
But the important part was the amount of information that just
suddenly appeared, said by those constellation.
"Where is the [Fallen Star]?" She asked simply, Twilight's behavior
concerning her. She spun around to smack another mole man, and saw
Yohan peering at her screen.
"Whatcha doin' Yohan~" Her saccharine tone held a note of suspicion
in it.
[Twilight sais the [Fallen Star] is doing import-]
[Constellation [Tea is at Noon] states that the [Fallen Star] is
currently above ground, making an important decision]
"Reading your notifications." Yohan said frankly, slicing another
mole head by it's head as he said it. There wasn't any point or
reason for him to hide it. Plus, it's information, who doesn't like
information.
"Now, why did you ask the location about the [Fallen Star]?" Yohan
paused, stabbing another mole head. "Don't tell me you are going to
look for him?"
"Of course I'm going to go looking for him." She lowered her voice.
"He has answers. Secrets about the rest of our party. Why Perceval
and Elias know waaaay too much about this world. We need to
survive, Yohan. I'm doing what I need to."
She turned back to the pop up, bashing three mole heads with one
swing as she turned back around. "[Tea at Noon], that's not an
answer. What is his location? And if you can't answer that, can
you, Twilight?"
Alaire looked up, eyeing the roof above. "[Fallen Star] is on the
surface? What's the fastest way up there?" Twilight was proving to
be... helpful. Now that the notifications weren't in brilliantly
painful red, at least. Did he perhaps have a split personality, red
meaning intent on causing harm, and default being slightly
kinder?
"Thank you, Twilight." She peered through the darkness, barely
making out a form in the distance that had to be the platform he
was referring to. "Yohan," she whispered. Information is... close
at hand. Are you with me, or not?"
