Moon had the chills. There was something extremely important she was supposed to remember about Lydia, but her mind was fairly empty...

She looked down and found herself holding a box of macarons. Where had those come from? Three were missing from the box. She ate one more.

Lydia was coming to kill her.

Oh yes, that's what she was supposed to be remembering. She better go take care of that. But Bliss had told her not to talk to any of them ever again!

The smart brain cell told Moon that she needed to do this. Bliss would understand! She was telling Lydia not to come back ever again. And also to never interfere in Bliss's plans. That would be bad.

Mercader was still yelling in her head. That was mean. But he was right. She thought. Everything was hazy. Seeing the box of macarons in her hands again, she ate another one.

The power of thought was slowly returning to Moon little by little. And with came the fear. The dread. The regret.

Lydia was coming.

And worst of all, Moon could feel her getting closer.

Moon flinched, and ate another macaron. There was so much information coming at her. Cautiously she stood, and wandered out of the office, claiming she needed to use the bathroom. It was better to meet Lydia with a slightly clearer head and on Moon's terms. Not Bliss's

Click. The sound of a switchblade unfurling. Lydia leaned against the wall, blending into the shadows, a hood pulled tightly over her head. She examined the knife. The scent of the mana was getting closer to her.

Azazel passed Moon in the hallway, paying her no heed. He entered the office and sat down without a word. Finally he had found the so called ‘meeting place’ of these people. He sighed, leaning his head on his arm that was rested on the chair.

Caspian opened the door for Iteral. “Hi Itty. Do you need me?” he asked her. “And yeah, you can come inssssssside.” he said, opening the door all the way for her and going into the art room again.

Caleb was still moping in the corner of losing the ability to use curse words.

"Oh, hello there."

Her voice wasn't peppy or cheerful in the slightest. Her eyes were glowing blue, now. She glanced up. Her smile was missing entirely. Her tone was icy. Dangerous.

Only now did it come to mind how eerie Lydia looked, without a smile. Her hair was singed, near-completely burnt of the right side of her head, making her haircut lopsided.

One key detail, Lydia didn't call Moon by any sort of name.

Smoke trailed down from the ceiling, curling around and forming a shadowy figure in the corner of the meeting room. The figure leaned on the wall. His tail flicked behind his feet and a smirk appeared on his lips. "I hope I'm not late to the meeting, ladies and gentlemen~"

"Well," She was stage whispering. An outside observer might think that she was drunk. Definitely inebriated. She bit into another macaron. "I'm supposed to say yes. But I'm not so sure." Moon nodded conspiratorially. "But I have to stay, or they'll get mad."

For a brief second, the real Moon emerged, and her face dropped. A look of pure sadness and regret overtook her features. But only for an instant.

"Your hair. I miss it." Her feelings were uninhibited.

"While I was, what, Lydia? Finish that sentence, we both know you want to." Moon wasn't angry. She wasn't sure the drugs allowed her to feel angry. She tucked a strand of blonde hair behind her ear. She was starting to feel uncomfortably hot again. Stupid drugs. But the distance from Bliss was making a difference.
