Hey! Where's the rest of the family? Ain't they at that, that restaurant? Why don't you go there? Instead of y'know lingering in this room writing out about your familyline. A red hand pushed over the papers and Yumine made a face. "Okay, pick that up. And... well, I'm not going because I don't really need to. I don't eat, and I'm pretty sure Merc' invited a lot of everyone so... yeah. The best I'd order would be a glass of water." Wha? You don't even drink water! That stuff hurtsss Yumine's eyes flicked to the side for a second before he continued his scribbling. My god. You're doing that again, aren't you.

History surrounded them like landmines. Moon squashed a surge of jealousy at the familiarity. Despite their faults and the tension, Mona cared for the Professor. She felt like an outsider, staring at the movie on the screen as her life flashed before her eyes. She tried to blend into the wall.

She had gone through the door expecting to be home, but now, she was farther from it than ever. Skysaeia, where the salt water tinged the air, and seagulls swooped majestically. The saltiest thing here was the Kibachi, and she thought she had maybe seen a pigeon on the walk over.

My unfinished symphony, forever unfinished! If I can't have this, then no one can.
It was never meant to be.

He took a bottle, pouring himself a cup. He downed it.

Iteral finished shopping, only getting her essentials. Checking the restaurant again, she thought to herself... hm. The professor keeps talking about this place. Maybe he'd like some food.

Taking off her headphones, she takes a table for one and dismisses the strong magical presence as thick atmosphere, seating herself far away enough that she wouldn't be noticed. She even had her magic dampener in her purse to subdue her own presence.

You know the first rule in combat? shoot them before they shoot you.

He was simply just listening into this conversation. He liked hearing the awkward tone. His food had came as well, and he had already drank his tea, and took Mercy’s as well. A menace

"These two are the same as ever. They don't need to work a day in their lives because they're more secure staying with me than going off. I'm sure they realized that."

She drifted away from the group of strangers, making her way up to the counter. Moon was immune to the smells of the food, wafting through the restaurant. Another woman had entered the restaurant, but did not appear to be part of the large group. Following her lead, Moon sat down at an isolated table for one.

She grabbed a napkin, and pulled a pen out of her Skysaeia bag.

What I know:
~
I am in a strange world.
This world has a history of interdimensional travels.
The door lied. This isn't Skysaeia.
The people here have stronger magic than I have ever seen.
I don't know how to get home. Either to earth, or Skysaeia.
I don't know anything about this world's values/currencies/history.
I do not know how or why I ended up here.
I have nowhere to go.
I have no possessions to my name.
The only person I know is immortal.
I cannot depend on anyone but myself.

Well, I did ask for an adventure.

Soon I'll be a stranger in a strange new place... searching for an old familiar face.

She had no idea what she was going to do. But Moon knew how to keep an open mind. She knew how to be quiet and when to speak. When to fade into the background, and when to maintain a presence. When to run away and when to take it.She could wait, analyze, and try to figure out who or what brought her here.

He scoffed, rolling his eyes at her comment. He just focused on his food. Plus, now he had more tea. She was a fool to get distracted. Still, he didnt think he’d be with her forever forever. That was a silly thought

Iteral saw Moon, chuckling a bit at her striking resemblance to Mona back then. She was good... looks a little lonely, a little confused though. Thinking nothing of it, she orders her food and drinks a sip of her apple juice. No alcohol, of course.

She was reliant on a 600,000 year old Professor who appeared to be drinking a lot of sake. Kendo was her only lifeline to this strange world. Moon wasn't sure she liked those odds. She continued to work on her list, stealing glances over at the table where the group sat.

Iteral took out a little notebook and wrote in it, smiling as she went on. She was just planning the next lecture while her food was cooking, sometimes looking over at Moon. She felt a little bad, she reminded her of a student in her class... shy, never raised her hand but kinda smart.

So she orders something, another apple juice and just let's it stay at the other side of the table.

"Thank you thank you thank you!" She clapped, giddy with excitement, and quicky filled out the check. "Okay, let's go! Caspian will be home later as well, and I have more sake at home." She hurried to get out, hopping on her bike and revving the engine.
