In original games, PokeBlocks were created and used to attract certain Pokemon in the Safari Zone. On PH, PokeBlocks would be extremely beneficial, not only for shiny hunters, but for dex completion as well. Using these blocks, players can increase the odds and/or number of a pokemon appearance in safari zone, or make it slightly easier to catch - Not too dissimilar to Bait.
With these proposed Pokeblocks, you can "equip" a block you want to use at the start of the game. There would be 5~10 of these blocks, perhaps?

1. Pikachu
2. The Vivillions (Having one for each pattern may be a bit much)
3. Pinsir/Scyther
4. Beedrill/Butterfree lines
5. The Weather Trio (And Enamorus when it gets added)

Of course, you could group all the bugs together as a bug PokeBlock, or separate them out more, or separate each Weather Trio to have their own special blocks.

How to obtain:

These could very easily be a tradable item, or not! It would probably be way more beneficial to make them tradable. Possible ways to obtain them include:
1. Mystery Boxes? (Maybe not)
2. Game Center Prize
3. Recipe in Berry Garden

For a recipe in the berry garden, it would probably be something like to this:

x10 Honey
x15 Pecha Berry
x30 [specific berry]

Basically, the biscuit recipe, but with a berry specific to each kind of block depending on what Pokemon you're hoping to attract. However, to keep levels of overuse down (at least a bit), this recipe would only make 1 block.

Support! I'd love for this to be a Berrygarden item, but I think there should be a few types pokeblocks for the Vivillons, maybe by colour? Would be fun to figure out the groupings

I was imagining something along the lines of

White Pokeblock: Tundra, Monsoon, Icy Snow
Red Pokeblock: Elegant, Meadow, Modern
Blue Pokeblock: Polar, River, Marine
Yellow Pokeblock: Continental, Sun, Ocean
Green Pokeblock: Jungle, Garden, Savannah
Brown Pokeblock: High Plains, Archipelago, Sandstorm

Maybe the other categories could be Pinsir and Scyther (Leafy Pokeblock?), Pikachu and Rotom (Shock Pokeblock?), the Butterfree and Beedrill lines (Honey Pokeblock?) and the legendary Pokeblocks could use the other red star berries not used in garden now (Rowap and Jaboca), or the purple star berries

My recent shiny vivillon took 85 trips to catch, so I think the recipe is fair (assuming it takes 60 trips instead, that's still only 1800 berries)

That sounds perfect! I like the name "shock block" hahha, and it would be great if we could give some more berries a use! Plus by separating Vivillion patterns like that, you can be more specific in which one your looking for, instead of simply increasing the number of all Vivillion. Maybe Vivillion (Normal) would be added to the 'honey block' or the 'red block'?

I think it should be obtainable in the mystery boxes too!

Also game center prize is a little too much obtainable and would make it useless..

@XxsatoshikunxX - Prizes at the game center can only be claimed once a day, but I get what you're saying. Maybe it would cost around 30k chips or something? Would that help?
