Zella didn't feel anything for a while, but she suddenly felt a tingling sensation along her back and tailbone
Her hair lengthened into multi colored feathery strands of Orange and yellow
She felt a sharp pain as feathers burst from her back soon, her back was completely covered with the Amber feathers

Soon, her legs were covered with the same feathers as her arms down to her knees, where her skin was starting to harden
Her toes merged into three bird talons, and one moved to her heel, until she was standing on the legs of a bird
Unused to these new legs, zella stumbled and fell, and when on the ground, she felt smaller, softer downy feathers growing on her front. These fathers were a creamy color, a bit colored like sand

A sharp pain made zella gasp, as large, strong wings burst from her back. These wings were an Amber hue, except for the bottoms of them, which were the same cream as her front feathers
A large tail burst from her tailbone, tearing a hole through her white cotton shorts. This tail, tangled in shreds of the mangled clothing, was the same bright orange as her hair
Now the only things left of zella that were uncovered by feathers were most of her face, her ears, shoulders, and the front of her neck, along with a portion of her collarbone

She waited a second to see if anything would change
Suddenly, she felt a tingling along her spine. The strange feeling soon spread to most of her body, not including her face
Her ears were suddenly fuzzy, and bent like a fox's
Crystal felt fur growing at the back of her neck and along her spine
Soon, her entire back was coated with fur

Her hair became softer, like tufts of cloud and a fluffy yellow tail burst out of her shorts
Soon she was entirely covered with soft orange fur, besides her face
Her feet had become paws, and the backs of her hands became furry
Her planes and fingers were not engulfed with fur, strangely
A sudden burst of thick yellow fur at her collarbone startled her
She stumbled on her new legs, but managed to stay upright by leaning on the wall
