Paiyoon stood, her back to the wall. Artemis wanted to die, the suspicious people had all aligned with each other, and to make matters worse, IDRIS, 👁️dris himself was here. Back, again.
She wondered whether Idris would remember her voting him out... Nah. Paiyoon was probably fine. Ayran was back too. Apparently they were all being karmically punished.
It was, of course, already time to vote. One of the players was acting suspicious though. That saved the burden of having to make an enemy.
Kaori Kim, she wrote with her usual flourish.
"Disembodied voice, I voted." She said, passive aggressively.

She took off her cape and put it on the floor. She unzipped her backpack. Her journal. Just what she needed.
Drax— a girl with red hair. Seems innocent….
Choi—Kind. Is innocent.
“I know no one apart from Choi and Drax…..”
Time to speak to others…….
Youngjin nodded her head at Drax
"I skip vote this day," she announced
Youngjin, bored, pulled out a book and started to read.
She then noticed the girl with the cloak had already written a name down
She found that suspicious but only pulled out her notebook and jotted it down.
Girl with cloak wrote down name on first day
Youngjin realised she couldn't skip vote
Well- there was only one person she was suspicious about
She went up, and wrote in her purple pen Girl with black cloak and purple hair
Youngjin felt terrible, she had just voted for someone to die.
Kathryn Arbred's POV
...she shuddered.
Well... People were probably going to die. That was inevitable.
Maybe it would be wisest to tie the votes for now.
With a deep breath, pen shaking in her hand, she wrote, Kathryn Arbred.
She didn't want to die either. But someone was going to.
...
Would she be willing to give her own life up, so that these strangers could live though?
She wasn't completely sure. It sounded cruel for the answer not to immediately be yes, but...
...
It was almost an instinct, to cling to life as long as you could.
She knew if Lucian was here... He'd have answered yes. That he would have given his life away without hesitation to save other people, whether he knew them or not.
Lucian... I hope he's alright.
...
If I make it out of here, I'll come find you, okay? I promise.
Kathryn couldn't help but wish he was here. But it was better he wasn't stuck in a situation like this...
Kathryn Arbred's POV
"It'll be okay. M-Maybe... No one will die?"
But the words felt forced out. She knew someone would die.
The Yōkai wouldn't just not kill, after all, that was their only way out of here.
And the villagers? She knew they had to condemn someone eventually, and unless they were extremely lucky, they might be wrong.
Kaori Kim
Is she perhaps the reason he is here? Paranoia flooded his thoughts, he balled his hands into a fist. Seemingly made up his thoughts, he went up to the stage.
Logically.. she may be the only one he knows, thus it is only normal for him not to vote for Kaori, but all her actions back then, were everything but innocence.
Even to this day, he still didn't know what was her goal.
Since there is no trust, there isn't any reason he shouldn't vote for her, it wasn't as if he was going to lose anything. Affirming his thoughts, he went to the podium and finally wrote down a name, firm on his decisions, and trusting that he wouldn't be wrong.
Paiyoon Ji
That was the name he wrote down.
Paiyoon Ji
Paiyoon looked at Ayran, annoyed. "Man, you really are stupid. An entire game and you didn't make a single educated vote. Now you're starting off wrong here too..."
"Besides. Kaori is extremely suspicious. She's too quiet." She rolled her eyes. They would all feel so stupid if they voted her out on day one. Paiyoon would make sure of it.
"If you want to... question me... to ensure I'm telling the truth, go for it."

Kathryn Arbred's POV
She frowned. Of course... People would die. She had to get used to that.
It'd be okay. If they could just figure this out, if the votes could just go the right way...
Then she could go find her brother again.
It was... Strange, really. How nice a lot of people here were.
She wasn't used to it...
