Class A-20
Forum-Index → Roleplay → Private RP → Class A-20"N-now, now... Kids, choose a weapon you like and spread out! You'll have all week t-to figure out a god weapon for you, so just get the hang of things for now!"
Artemis made a beeline for the spears.
wickedness?
Or is it
weakness?
You decide.
You know the first rule in combat? shoot them before they shoot you.
Dragging her haul over to a corner (back to wall meant no one was sneaking up on her), Callisto opened the casings. A brief heft of the darts and Callisto knew they would work fine if the sniper option failed. The familiar weight was comfortable between her fingers. They could immobilize and even do more if she needed them to.
Unpacking the sniper was difficult. The weapon was unwieldy in her small fingers. Her nimble hands were used to the lightning fast throw of a dart, not hoisting a rifle over one shoulder. She stood hesitantly, bringing her eye to the scope. Infra-red vision revealed all her classmates wandering through the rows of weapons. Her mental skill reaffirmed their positions, matching their streams of consciousness to the infra-red blobs. It wasn't altogether uncomfortable, and Callisto was fairly certain she would at least hit the target. The outer rings maybe, but the target nonetheless.

Callisto had to admit, Artemis had balls. Or at least enough power and mana to be completely indifferent to the fact that he was staring down the barrel of a sniper rifle. She lowered the weapon, leaning it against her side. She bent down, and picked up the dart again.
"These are mostly my speed, darts, throwing knives, etc. For some reason, I've decided to... expand my skillset." Callisto gestured vaguely in the direction of the rifle. Her eyes landed on Artemis's spear. "Interesting choice yourself. Ranged weapons will evidently be an advantage in this classroom." She gazed pointedly at their classmates, many of whom were mucking about among the swords.

She surveyed the room again before glancing up at Artemis. Ogd, she really was short. "So what now? Do we wait for them to get their sh!t together and pick a weapon?"
The sarcasm dripped from her voice. She was much less approachable than she had been a few minutes earlier.

"Stick to spears," She added as an after thought.

Callisto could feel Lunara's eyes on the two of the them. They had grabbed a sword, which was normally a red flag, but the revolver in their other hand was an interesting remedy. Callisto turned and watched them.

Callisto smiled. She really didn't have too much of a clue of what she was even saying at this point. Give her some throwing knives and a target on the other side of the bar any day, and she'd win the pot. Simple as that. Beyond that, her weapons knowledge was mostly just conjuncture that had expanded rapidly within the last ten minutes.

My current RP work:
He strength was agility, not strenuous power. He needed speed, not strength, the lighter and sharper the sword the better.
He rummage through the thick pile of weapons and found a pitch black scabbard, he could sense a light snow white spiritual aura, but he could tell that it was extremely powerful, if anything, much better than those gaudy, flimsy, heavy swords. He unsheathed a small part of the sword, it had a thin blade, and it shined in the light as if it was ice.
It was also light in his hands too.
Now all he needed was some acupuncture needles. Elehah searched to another pile, perhaps it was because he was taking a long time, it wasn't long before he found some decent quality ones that were acceptable to him. Elehah put the scabbard on his waist and the needles under his sleeves, hidden away.
Then he finally stepped to the group, now armed and ready.
