I think I might have missed something, but I can't find anyone talking about it? Why is Enamorus an event Pokemon when its a canon Pokemon? As far as I know, no other legendary is marked like that. Basically, why is it in the event category if it isn't a site specific Pokemon?

The Enamorus is a reward gotten from the recent Valentine's Event..

On this site, Pokémon that are usually gotten from a certain event distribution have a rarity "Event" at first.. and then, after a while, it will be changed to its proper rarity (i.e. Special, Legendary, etc. depends on how it'll be obtained on the site) as it is a "canon" Pokémon.

I won the "Event Spriting Contest" as it says on News Announcement #224.
