Bronlyn stared at Ayren one more time, "Well, whatever floats your boat Ayren, you do your thing and I will do mine, just one more thing, take care of yourself", Bronlyn said and walked away from Ayren and returned to the front line in which the tour was halted. But suddenly, Bronlyn was having second thoughts so she began searching for Princess Athena, "Athena, where are you?", Bronlyn called but to no avail, so Bronlyn decided to look for Athena at the library but she doesn't want to miss the other patrons who were stunned by the disappearance of Princess Athena.

Just a little more... Athena sprinted around the corner - to come face to face with a man in black robes. "Why little princess, thank you very much for your wonderful diversion!" Figures emerged from all around her, cackling.

Meanwhile, the guests were panicking. The masked figures had herded them back into the throne room, where the king was struggling to get everything under control. "Settle down everybody. Don't worry, your precious little princess won't be harmed - if you give us every last piece of gold you have."
The reason of my existence?
To annoy you.

Or is it the other way around?

Bronlyn handed several gold in between 40-50 gold, “Here your majesty, here’s the gold, I hope Princess Athena will be okay I don’t want her to get hurt or injured”, Bronlyn said as she handed the gold to the king, hoping that the king will be impressed and thankful.

Kaori remained in the back of the crowd, observing silently. She fiddled with her bracelet before she started letting her mind wander. She started daydreaming of the future, and her daydream involved a small garden of flowers. Kaori smiler slightly and kept fiddling with her bracelet.

Athena hissed and struggled, and blasted random bolts of fire and ice, feeling slight satisfaction in hearing painful grunts. “Now now, you don’t want to destroy the palace, do you?” They tied her hands behind her back. Trying to phase out of her bonds, panic was truly starting to settle in when nothing seemed to work. No telepathy, no paralysis, not even creating a tiny light to see what was going on. “Now, you stay here like a good little princess and I’ll be right back.”

“Welcome, ladies and gentlemen! To the true gala!” The same cloaked figure Athena had run into earlier seemed to materialise in thin air, giving a little mock bow to the king and queen. Tall and imposing, the room temperature seemed to drop ten degrees. “Your majesties, such a fine party you had planned. Pity I shall have to alter it a little.” Turning back to the assembled guests, he spread his hands and addressed the room as a whole. “Save the panic, there will be much use for it later. But no need to get so serious, let’s lighten up the mood, shall we?” A cloud of black smoke appeared, clearing to reveal Athena, still very much beautiful, but obviously being held captive. “Like I said, your princess won’t be harmed. Though you will have to pay a little entrance fee.” A pouch appeared, floating in the air, next to all the guests. “Just put all your valuables in there, and we’re good to go.”

Rei didn't bring that much aside from his balckstone sword for self defense. He noticed an open window and quickly got an idea. He ran over to the window and whispered something.

Athena somehow managed to kick the cloaked figure holding her. Her response was an even tighter grip. That alone was bad enough, but worse yet, she felt her magic draining away every moment whatever they were using to restrain her was at work. She was losing energy rapidly.

"Hurry up, you wouldn't want to waste too much time. I have such festivities planned!" A blast of red energy hit Rei in the chest. "I don't want anyone regretting leaving before they've seen them!" The windows and door slammed shut, then made a hissing sound as they locked themselves.

"Rei! What do you think you're doing!? Let him go, let all of them go!"

"Don't worry little princess. He'll be fine." Turning back to the guests, the figure's voice got harder. "We don't have all night."

Bronlyn grabbed more gold from her dress pocket and said to the thieves, "Here are some more gold coins and yes I do brought in some silver coins as well if you are happy", Bronlyn said in a tough attitude. Then she looks at Rei and said, "You got to think carefully about the next strategy if you want us the guests to be saved".

Rei hissed at the pain, but soon enough, a giant swarm of crows and caws surrounded the castle. The amount of crows we're extremely overwhelimg as the scattered around the entire building, espcially near the windows.
