Selaphiel was already awake, appearing back in her room. "Long
night... Why do these things always happen..." She sighed, walking
out of her room and into the hallway. She didn't actually know
where the others' rooms were, so she opened them one by one.

It had been storming through the night, and thankfully calmed down
into a light rain. Aret moved around in her sleep, trying to find a
position that would get rid of the pain. The other four pairs of
wings draped over her and down the sides of the bed, big and fluffy
as they were when they weren't taken care of. She breathed in and
out deeply, opening her eyes and looking around. Her sleeve and arm
was covered in blood- just how much had she coughed up?

Lean was already awake. She had been long before dawn, making sure
her final plan was developing nicely. Breakfast was being prepared
by the staff, Caspian's bag is being checked and prepared, the
final clean up was being done. Right now, she was back in her room,
with her own personal kettle and tea brewing. She turns to the
sound of the door, waving. "Good morning Miss Selaphiel. Care for a
morning tea?" She smiles, just... how can one be so awake and
lively at this early of an hour.

"Oh, uh, sure." She stepped in and closed the door, sitting across
from her. She double checked to make sure she looked fine, no hair
or feathers out of place, no skin melting off. "You're up awfully
early."

Lean chuckles a bit and pulls another cup from her drawer, pouring
it in and handing the cup over to Selaphiel. "Oh, I just like
getting my work done early. And given that both the King and I are
going to depart, I thought I would give our successor as easy of a
time as I can." She lifts her notebook, showing it to her. A small
supportive note and inside some pointers. "Though, I wouldn't call
it "awfully early"... how come you do? Are you up by force?"

"Work separate from my task to save the Saint Deity. It's...
Eventful. Keeps anyone and everyone up whenever they come." She
answered vaguely, sipping the tea. "Besides, I need to eat
sometime, you know. The human food here is disgusting."

"I am sure you would not want me to meddle in celestial business,
so I will abstain from offering my help." Lean answered, trying to
match Sela in eloquency. "Though, if I may, what do you eat? Are
you disgusted from human food as a whole or are your standards just
that high? Remember, you are in a royal castle... I could try
fetching something that is more to your liking."

"You are not able to give me what I eat. It's physically
impossible." She closed her eyes for a moment. "Keeping up
appearances is difficult enough. I'm afraid I'm running out of
time, so we need to be quick and reduce Her Majesty."

"Well, time management is one of my specialties. Don't worry, Miss
Selaphiel, I'll mobilize any resources I can gather to help you."
Lean smiles a little confidently, bowing down slightly before
finishing her tea. "Just know that if you need to relax or let
loose, let me know. I will neither judge nor berate. Though, if I
may again... what do you mean by "reduce" her majesty?"

"I mean rescue! It's imperative we rescue her! Lest this nation
completely die out and be wiped from the map, of course." She
coughed, turning away. "Apologies... Mind is just fuzzy."

"... I know human medicine might not work on a highly classed
individual like you..." Lean opens a different drawer and places
down a simple pill with red dots and refills her tea cup. "But let
me at least show you that, while the rescue of the Saint Deity is
the highest priority... that you and your entourage are just as
vital." She makes it sound like she's not a part of it.

Lean shakes her head somewhat. "It's medicine. There was a cure-all
that my former partner used to carry in those ornate boxes but...
well, we haven't been in touch for some time." She sighs, briefly
looking upset. Then, she smiles again. "He gave me a lesser version
of it once and I had it left over for emergencies. And for people
who need it." She opens her drawer, showing that it was in small
wooden box as well when she took it out.

"It's a show of loyalty, to put it a little more bluntly." Lean
takes both cups and places them away, on a small wooden board.
"Because I know I probably cannot provide you with things you
usually have. I mean, I am sure if they let someone like you enter,
the barrier to entry must be very high. But I will do the best of
my abilities to help you out, both you and your cause." She puts
the pill back into the wooden box but puts it in Sela's range,
along with a glass of water she somehow conjured up.

"It's too early. Not many are awake yet, breakfast isn't planned
until later. But I respect your wish of secrecy." When Selaphiel
blinked, Lean disappeared with her notebook. A note was left on the
glass of water.
My next appointment is in the waiting hall, the place where I
had the confrontation with myself. If you wish to talk, go there.
If not, I recommend we leave after breakfast. Increases morale and
would give you less of a headache.

Kendo was right outside of Aret's room, carefully cleaning an
ornate, black dagger. He hummed quietly, his silver hair shimmering
in the light. He seemed bored.
