She mimicked his movements, angling her own head to the side. Her
hand moved from his arm to his face, lightly holding his cheek. She
found it odd that he wasn't either on his knees in worship or
trying to kill her and steal her power. He acted... Completely
normal around her. No one had ever acted so calm around her.

He flinched slightly at the touch. He didn't move. He just...
looked at her. He seemed completely unbothered by the fact that she
was the Saint. He just stood there, as relaxed as ever.
She recoiled slightly at his movement, but went back to touch him,
moving her hands to his hair and playing with the ends of each
strand. Her soft breathing hit his shoulder. "Kendo..." She tested
his name on her tongue, seeing if it would cause a reaction.

She furrowed her brows, deep in thought. "I'm sorry..." She
apologized for simply saying his name, in case it had offended him.
She used both of her hands to move his head around gently.

She didn't answer, instead, wrapped her arms around his neck and
rested her head against his own his shoulder. Her wings covered
them both, hiding them away. She let out a soft sigh, closing her
eyes.

Her body became heavier as the time passed. It seemed like she was
beginning to fall asleep. She whispered something in Latin, but was
shocked by the collar, making her flinch and grasp Kendo's clothes
to keep herself upright.

She whimpered at the feel of his magic. He was definitely going to
do something to her. She knew it. She was going to be used and
killed. It was going to happen. She let her guard down for even a
second and now she was going to pay for it. She felt her breathing
getting more erratic, pulling at the collar that began to sink into
her skin. The front pull only made the back spikes stick into her
neck, causing even more pain.

She could hear footsteps coming up the stairs that led to her room.
The collar must've sent out a signal once she began to panic,
alerting Legion of her activity. She looked around frantically,
finding a small pillow on her bed to hold tightly to calm herself
down. She motioned for Kendo to leave.

Tom carefully stood up, and he began to take soft, quiet steps
towards the manor. He stepped up to the door, which was locked. He
didn't feel like knocking, mainly because he didn't feel like
dealing with the attitudes of the people inside, but he needed a
warm place to sleep tonight. This whole "Sleeping in the Alleyways"
crap wasn't gonna cut it any longer.
And so, Tom hoisted his guitar, Susan, high above his head, and
then brought it down, smashing out a window. He climbed into the
manor through the busted glass, being careful that he wasn't
noticed.
With that, Future also clocked out. Her time ran out just seconds
after Kendo's disappearance and, before she left, decided to give
the Saint a... small vision of her own. She removed the disguise
spell for a moment and made illusionary black wings behind her back
(ofc the Saint would know they aren't real). She whispered for her
and only her to hear:
You found a friend. More are to follow. Your freedom comes soon.
Your captors will pay.
Those four sentences, then she disappeared in a faint ticking
sound.

Current shakes her head. "Don't worry about him. He's a bit of an
opportunist, it's normal for him to take longer." She still
flinches at his sudden appearance. "S-See?"
You know the first rule in combat?
Shoot them before they shoot you.
Charlotte sat on the roof of the manor, swinging her legs off the
edge. She watched half heartedly as some of her fate strings (like
the one tied to Kendo, as well as others who weren’t asleep) moved
around.
With a sigh, she leaned back on the roof and closed her eyes. It
was no use getting any sleep with a whole group of powerful
strangers just under her.
