She finished tying a scroll to a messenger dove, sending it away. Just as she did, she saw the four, two of which she despised with a passion. She scowled and walked away, taking out another scroll.

Iteral dials herself quicker, standing in front of her. "Wait, wait, wait." She positions herself directly in front, holding both arms up to show that they're empty. "... just wait, we've got time, don't we. Hear us out..."

"Look, I am not going to pretend like I can relate to your pain and suffering. I am sure you have done your duty to the fullest... and I'm sorry for your loss and what you are going through. But trust me, none of us are actually trying to make your life worse. We're just also having stressful times and, well, I'm ready to look past that. I'll cut back on the talk and make sure that we're not as much of a pestilence on you as before, alright? Just..."

She looks up, a face of genuine concern... and not just for the Saint Deity, but also for the angel herself. "... let's work together to liberate her. I'm sure the Saint Deity could use a good archangel at her side once we're done. You'll be rid of us and have her back." The embrace got a bit tighter and, the usually colder and more distant Iteral for once radiates warmth from her. Actual... compassionate warmth. "Are those... agreeable terms for you?"

Somewhere in the world, whistling echoed around the trees. Tap, tap, tap. The same sounds resonated across the forest. Whistling wafted through the branches as a silhouette strolled through the path. The whistling faded out, being replaced by singing. Not a sweet singing, more of a velvety song that would draw you in. Like a siren.

"Face à face, près de moi." Faint rattling chittered with anticipation. "Dis-moi, qu'est-ce que tu vois" The silhouette swerved around, moving along to their own tempo and song. "Quand tu me regardes? Regarde-moi~"

He sipped from the steaming liquid in his mug. He frowned slightly, staring at the drink. He put it to his mouth once more and downed the entire mug in one go.

He refilled his mug with steaming water and dropped two pills into the liquid. He watched as the pills melted into the water.

"Ici au bout d'un souffle," The silhouette drew their hand across the bark of a tree. "Ici au bout d'un rêve" A raptor cawed on a branch, hopping from one foot to the other. Before one could blink, a shape of green flashed through the forest and the bird was gone. Only a mass of feathers on the floor. A laugh of amusement followed.

She growled slightly, pushing Iteral away, though it wasn't as harsh as she could've been. "The first time I think you're trying to be comical, I'm leaving. And you," She looked at Kendo. "If you do anything stupid, I'll send you to a worse level than the one I put the clock in." After her anger had quelled mostly, for the time being, she turned away and stretched the wings on either side of her head, making sure her face wasn't seen. When she turned back with her face covered, she dusted the silk of her robes. "Selaphiel. That is the name I was given."

Iteral shakes her head and sighs. "I'm not. I just... had time to think in that room you sent us in. I didn't mean to be this harsh to you." Iteral hesitates... and then goes down to one knee, facing down the ground and one eye looking up. "I apologize, Selaphiel, for my behavior. I didn't know we were this much of a plague on you. I just wish for us to work together so we can rescue the saint." The time witch sounded a lot different all of a sudden, now with a much lower voice and no more hostility in it either. "Your name is nice. It's... nice to meet you, Archangel Selaphiel."

She summoned her staff and waved it over everyone, watching as a soft glow lit the crowns of their heads for a short while before dimming again. "I'm not sure if we'll be able to face Legion alone. Our best bet is to go around kingdoms and survey our options."
