A casual, normal day like every other day in people's boring lives. School, work...it was life. And it was boring. Theo and Kendo were just two average students, living out their mostly average lives. See, i put mostly. That gives us a lot of potential for backstories and stuff. That was, until one fall evening...

Theo took a big breath in, taking in the smell of used books. Oh how he loved the library. He had a feeling this day would be a good day, and it was indeed as the rest of the kids in his homeroom scrambled to get books. This had to be his favorite part of the day. besides hanging out with kendo. What made Theo even more happy was that it was just before school let out for the day.

Kendo burst into the library. His friends often described him as a chaotic force of nature. He was lively, energetic, sarcastic and chaotic. With all thos things combined, he was banned from the libarary. That didnt matter to him though. He wanted to go find Theo.

Theo went off into the maze of bookshelves, determined to find a good book. He hadn't noticed Kendo burst in, or if he did he had ignored it. Let's see here...sci fi -ew. Horror ... Fantasy... so many options! A little under half an hour to choose too...

The librarian, fortunately for Kendo, was busy helping a different student find a good book, and the rest of the kids wouldn't dare tattle on him, so he was fine. For now.

Kendo peered over Theo's shoulder, looking at the books with him. He read a few books. Not that often, but he still read books. He just didnt find them fun. But he'd do anything to hang out with Theo.

Theo jumped. He was not expecting anyone to speak to him, especially not Kendo. "... Come on! Don't sneak up on me like that, you'll give me a heart attack-!" He was very easily spooked. "And what does it look like I'm looking at?"

"Honestly, don't know what other answer I was expecting." Theo said, smiling. "But school lets out in less than thirty minutes, and I just wanna find a book to read." He half whined, joking. He honestly liked having someone to talk to. Plus, he had a whole bookshelf of books he was putting off reading. So he didn't really need to find a book here.
