"Well, if the HM has something to do with Scarlett's disappearance or not, he's still acting suspicious. And we need to investigate. Or at least I need to investigate. If you want to stay out, fine, it is very risky. Asking Kendo is a good idea, he'd probably know where Scarlett is."

"Ok ok, slow down a little. Why would I know what happened to Scarlett? For all I know, she could be perfectly fine!" But Athena didn't believe her own words. If Scarlett was fine, Kendo would have seen her. Unless there was a serious thing going on, which, in that case, they would still have to find Scarlett.

Once Lucinda was back in and the wall had slid into place, Athena took a seat on one of the chairs. "There's no use. Kendo... Needs a little time to himself."

While not close friends, Athena knew what Kendo went through, and how close he and Scarlett were. Couldn't blame him, can't she say the same for herself? Except she preferred to keep to herself, friendly with everyone but good friends with no one. It was easier that way. Getting into that later. Now, they needed to figure out exactly what was going on.

"I... I think I heard the HM talking to Scarlett in that room that day. He might have done something with her... Wouldn't put it past him, calls himself a headmaster..." She muttered the last part under her breath, so Lucinda couldn't hear her.
