The Final Hour RP
Forum-Index → Roleplay → The Final Hour RPShe took the book from Lucinda's hands without waiting for an answer, side stepping her with shadow magic. She began to flip through the pages reverently, pausing at various spells and rituals.

She still held the book out of the girl's reach, paging through it with a combination of worry and interest.

"Lucinda, please, you should not touch it. Let it go."
Ayran reached his right arm out to block the strike, but to also gain Lucinda's attention.
'Hey, My little dark mage friend, since y'know how dangerous that book is for a light user, how about I stall her, while you try to take it away?' Ayran telepath that to the other dark mage.
"Miss Angelica, I'll say it again. "This book has adverse affects on light magic users, you're not thinking straight." Her mind raced, trying to think of a solution. Clearly the teachers would be no help.

"Miss Lucinda, my dear friend, you really aren't in your right mind, This book is not good for light users."
Ayran paused his voice, "..So please hand it back to me."
'Little Dark Mage friend, How about instead wasting your time standing there, how about help me knock Miss Lucinda unconscious?' Ayran telepathed that to the other dark mage.
She took off running, but appeared to be gliding across the ground like a shadow. As she went faster and faster, a shadowy portal began to open up alongside her. She tossed the book in, and looped back around to the others. It had been sent to the realm of nothingness, and could no longer affect anything on the earth. Not even shadow mages could get it back now.

Ayran's mind ran over 100 miles per seconds trying to think of a solution, before he got it. If they are going to use magic, might as well use it as well.
Ayran first controlled his mana to create vines that tied Lucinda to the ground, then used the powerful mana controlling abilities of Drykens to change the gravity of Lucinda, in which changed the angle of the blade.
All this happened within a 2 seconds, and Ayran not only successfully blocked the sword, but also tied Lucinda to the ground.
In which then the other dark mage took the book away, and then Lucinda fainted.
Ayran looked at the other dark mage and smiles teasingly, "Little Friend, you already know this advanced level of magic this early is quite impressive!"
She laid her down on the ground and stepped back, dusting off her hands. The sword lay next to her in its usual state. Well, at least Lucinda was no longer possessed. But what to do with her unconscious form? Was there an infirmary anywhere around here?
Honestly, it wasn't her problem. Every rational bit in her brain told her to leave. Especially since Ayran kept calling her his "little friend". She was short and powerful, and he was patronizing and rude. But she stayed.
"What now?" She said, sounding bored.
