My question is about when people say that their Pokémon is “7th on
site”/“7OS”, etc. How are they able to find that information? And,
this is possibly part of this question, or a different one: Is
there any sort of database where you can look up all of a certain
type of Pokémon that are on site?
when they hatch they go to pokedex, search for mon, and there it
will say how many of their are there and since they just hatched
their pokemon is the ___th on site (OS)
for example, my shiny jirachi is 128 OS, cause when i looked at
pokedex when it hatched, there were 128 shiny ones
So it’s the “sitewide frequency” thing? The first number is how
many shinies are on site, and the second number is how many
non-shinies are on site? Or is the first number how many shinies
are on site, and the second number how many total are on site, both
shiny and non-shiny?
Yeah, I thought so. But I was asking if the second number without
any star is referring to the total number of shinies and
non-shinies or if it’s only referring to the number of
non-shinies.
And is there not any database where you can look up the profiles of
each of the individual Pokémon, then? Like, so you can see what
their stats are and what they’ve been named and who has them?
And is there also not any way to check what OS a Pokémon is if you
weren’t there when it hatched?
- You mean it’s only referring to non-shinies, not the total
number? So there are 10,451 non-shiny Jirachi and 10,580 total
Jirachi?
- That’s not what I’ve been asking. I was asking how to find each
of the Pokémon of a certain species *on this site*. I said to see
what they’ve been named and what users have them, etc.
- So there is no way to verify any claims about OS, and no way for
me to tell what OS a rare Pokémon I obtained from someone else is?
