Rūkasu quietly let out a small ow and rubbed the back of his head a bit. “Okay Mom, I won’t run off again…” He then said under his breath “Unless there’s a good reason to.” He ducked preemptively to avoid the next hit on the head by Matsunaga that would probably happen.

He's lucky he ducked, because she did try to swat him again. "You heard me... No going out... What would Tengen say?" Mercy turned to look at Makoto.

"Thankfully, the conflict is over... And the casualties were... Well...." She smiled and dropped the statement. "How are you feeling, dear?"

With her new powers, Mercy was easily able to open a portal within the trees of the nearby forest, back to the cottage. "Finally..."

Iteral shrugs, waving them goodbye and through the portal, checking her phone. "Hmmm, still no response. Well I'm sure he'll be delighted to hear that we finally defeated the Blight and everything." She smiles at Mercy, finally showing genuine happiness. "Let's get inside already!"

He just… followed them. It was strange. It was vaguely familiar, but also not. But everyone else seemed happy. He could deal with that

"You're awfully excited..." Mercy made sure everyone was through the portal before closing it and opening the door. Inside was more of a mess, with things missing from the kitchen (mainly food) and things misplaced everywhere. She carried Caspian, noticing how cold and stagnant the air was. "Nothing has been moving around here for months."

"Sorry, it's not usually like this." Matsunaga nodded and went straight to the kitchen. Most of the fridge items were bad, she realized, so she would clean it out for Mercy. "Iteral, maybe you should relax first before trying to hunt him down?" She walked upstairs after her.

Caleb was now sitting at a dusty table. This was how he liked it. It looked all messy and abandoned. Like how he was used to living in. He liked this more than the usual staying area of everyone.

Caspian shivered a bit in the cold air around the house area. But he seemed to be a bit relieved that they were all home and that, hopefully, things would go back to normal.

Rūkasu sat down on a chair. He was quite tired after his encounter with whoever that was with Aria Grace. He wiped some more blood from his mouth and sighed.

Eclipse was still outside the cottage, flapping his wings a bit, flying for short spurts of time. He didn’t like it inside yet, so he had decided to just stay out.

Mercy stopped on the fifth floor, looking at the end of the hallway. The door she created the led to alternate realms was cracked open, a note taped to the door. She ran to it and ripped it off of the door before Iteral could find her, holding the knob with her hand and reading the note thoroughly.

"Ambrose! Where are you?" Iteral's voice rang through the halls, as she walks around the cottage and is now already getting closer the fifth floor. "Strange, why is he so elusive... maybe he's got a surprise ready?"

Mercy heard Iteral and quickly entered the dimension room, closing the door so she couldn't get in. "I can't believe it..." She checked to make sure that Caspian had his head nestled in the crook of her neck, and that he couldn't see anything. She would eventually have to put him down to... Well... She wasn't looking forward to it. And Iteral certainly couldn't find out what the note said. So her domains were the best place to dispose of them. But would she really leave him here?

Iteral kept looking, now in the fifth floor. Checking every door but the dimensional one, she scratches her head a little in confusion. "Strange." She said out loud. "I'd say he went shopping but... doesn't look like he went out at all." Her gaze went over to the special doorway, noticing that it was locked. Looking into her bag, she stays in the fifth floor hallway and tries calling Ambrose again.

Mercy noticed his phone ring. She waited for the ringing to end. Then picked up his phone and looked back at the door, dropping it.

And slamming her heel on it, watching the screen and circuits shatter and splinter. "Sorry, Iteral. This isn't something you can mettle in."
