With that, she runs off to Mercy, catching her from that blast and using momentum to fling herself around Mercy, ending up in front of her and arms around her waist. "Wait, Mercy! Stop!" She pleads, looking up and then back at Rhuna.

The alternate down there was still trying to beat up the locks. "Makoto! Matsunaga? A little help?!"

"I'm trying to look... for the unlock setting. Don't tell me... what to do." Matsunaga mumbled, frantically searching through various files for what she needed.

Mercy was blown back, trying to push Iteral away. "Get out of here! Your enemy is right there!" She pointed down at Yekaterina, being careful of the field of stars and flinching when she set one off, caught in the chain explosion. She was fine, using her power, but that power was almost gone- the shield around her body was cracked badly.

Auspice laughed at the fading power of Mercy. "It's a shame, how you don't want to turn to us, but I suppose things are just how they are. Your cousins would be disappointed." She spoke before rushing at Mercy with her scythe pulled back, getting ready to swing at Mona at the neck area.

Rhuna ran over to Yeka as fast as she could, panting heavily. "Yeka! We need to have a truce! Killing each other won't solve anything! I got Mercy's biological daughter to help us, so if we could get Mercy to stop, we could have time to fix everything-!"

"W-What?! But Rhuna!" Yekaterina frowned. "Everything we've done has led up to this moment! We're supposed to kill that goddess in order to create our perfect world! For us! For our followers! For our children! You can't just... take that back now! Who put this crazy idea in your head?" Mercy narrowly dodged the attacks, having the scythe hit her shoulder instead. She growled and pushed Iteral out of her way, attacking Auspice and aiming for her heart.

"No!" Iteral yells and grabs Mercy's shoulder with one hand, her light magic flowing into her mother, while the other hand wanted to reach against the scythe and forms a shield of shadows, holding it in a protective fashion to cover Mercy's neck and upper body from a side hit. "Stop attacking! Both of you!"

She rolls her eyes. "Save your dislike for the real one. Right now, we gotta free them." She now tries a more sensible approach, using her clockmaker kit to try picking it.

Imagine the life we could have ahead of us without the burden of fate resting upon our shoulders! If we ally with them, we could be safe! We could have our own life..." Rhuna tried not to get emotional at the moment, but she couldn't help it, since tears started to well up in her eyes.

Auspice looked at Iteral, who had just saved her life. She looked at Mercy, then Iteral, then Mercy. She seemed to be less aggressive, but she was still pissed off.

"Go away!" Mercy kicked Iteral away and went straight for Auspice. Yekaterina watched them fight for a short while before turning back to Rhuna, pulling her down so they were more eye level.

"Rhuna... You are the only light in my life, I don't want to break your heart, but... What about my goal? Will you make me abandon it?"

Rūkasu continued to follow his bad feeling in his gut. He eventually came upon a door. He had no idea where it led, but he knew someone or something in there may be trouble now or later, he opened the door and grabbed the hilt if his sword, looking into the room. “Who’s there?” he asked.

Auspice growled lightly, swinging her scythe to the side of Mercy's torso so she could get knocked away. "You are becoming reckless."

"Yes! That is the only way for TRUE peace. Yeka... please... revert this. Undo this mess. Many lives are being taken away, and more will be if we don't end this!"

Iteral groans, the kick itself was quite a hit and she had to take a nano-second to hold her breakfast in her stomach. After that, she goes back and just forms another shield in her hand with a clock in center to protect Mercy. "I won't! Just hear us out! I managed to convert Rhuna, why not her?! Stop this needless assault!" She yells, as she protected Mercy more and more.

"Wait, grandni-" Iteral coughs all of a sudden, as a sudden scythe in her chest interrupted her. Groaning, the clock just drops, the shield dissipates and, with effort, she pulls the scythe out of her and fumbles with another clock, desperately trying to dial herself back.

Mercy glared at Auspice, holding a star in her hand. Except, it wasn't a small star she usually had orbiting her head-

It was a real, live star. Hot and big and glowing, beginning to heat up everything around it. "This ends now. You'll let me do what I need to do to save the world and avenge my mother." Yekaterina whimpered and took a step back. "I-I can't! Despite fighting her, Mona is still sending attacks my way!" She dodged another light beam from Mercy's rapier. "My shield is almost gone... I think- I think this is it... I'm sorry I couldn't do anything to repay your kindness, Rhuna." She smiled, defeated.

Auspice took this moment to knock the clock out of Iteral's hand, looking straight at Iteral. "I wonder what she could do without you." She smirked, kicking Iteral down before turning to Mercy. "You cannot avoid fate, Mona."

"N-No... NO!! Yeka, please- d-don't! You can't! T-There must be some other way! I'll undo it! It'll be me!"

Iteral groans, hitting her pocket and able to restore the wound in her. But it was at the cost of her age, as she shoots up to her early sixties, growing grey hair and wrinkly skin. "Ugggh... without me... Mona would be no worse off. She has others." She groans, pointing at Yeka. Her own shadow manifested and took a beam from Mercy, shielding Yeka and Rhuna before it burned alive from the light, dissipating.

Auspice huffed heavily, slowly wearing out. She turned to Iteral, then back to Mercy. She shook her head, taking a step back due to the star. "You Guardians... always so reckless with yourselves..."

Rūkasu saw someone he recognized sitting in a chair in the room. “You…” he said; unsheathing his sword and pointing it at Aria Grace. “You’re Aria Grace I presume. I’ve heard things about you. Things I don’t particularly like.” Rūkasu seemed to be breathing a bit harder than before when he was walking calmly. He seemed a bit frustrated at seeing Aria.

"You must be one of Mona's lackeys." Aria Grace smiled at him, shutting her grimoire. "Here for trouble? I can fight if you really want, but confrontation isn't really my style. I'm a very superficial person, through and through."

Mercy huffed, throwing the star at Auspice and watching it explode into a million pieces, all falling to the ground. She then turned to Yekaterina and Rhuna. "I told you to get out of my way, Rhuna. Now you both die." Yekaterina pulled Rhuna back behind her.

"Run away! Go! I won't let you die so quickly!" She told her, glaring at Mercy. "I... I have no intentions to fight you! Not anymore...!" Mercy didn't listen.
