Kendo judged that the kitsune was not a threat and sheathed his sword and made the magic shield disappear with a flick of his hand. "You attacked me first, kind Kitsune. Me, a simple wandering knight." He said this all the while carefully wiping some leftover blood from his brutal decapitation of Monika off his hands.

Kendo was just casually whistling the ddlc theme as he wiped the blood off his chestplate. Because comedy is whistling the theme of the character you just killed.
